This may be a little too much information but here we go. I have always had a problem approaching women. I have had all of two girlfriends, one I met which was a fluke. The other I was set up with...I am going into the navy in a couple months and am out of shape, and am going to be going to to be going to a local pool every day to get into shape. I just tend to over think things too much and end up fucking myself over. Is there any way I can get over being too shy or ball less? Oh and please no posts about being an immature 13 year old or any of that flamer shit...

Grow some balls, and talk to women. I'm not going to do it for you. I can almost guarantee the next poster won't either. You have to man up and do it for yourself. And the navy is probably not the right place for an out of shape nancy boy thats afraid of girls.

The navy part is not in question, by not in shape I mean swimming wise. I was just looking for some general advice about it because of the whole over thinking everything. I never said I was afraid, I only want some general advice. I know there are some people out there like me who have gotten better and might be able to lend some help...

I hear where your coming from. My own personal cure was having my heart broken, i quite simply don't care any more. I don't think you can do this without some life changing event or forcibly changing your whole personality. Good luck.

To the OP: I'm like you. Shy. Haven't had many girl friends, but you just have to make yourself do it. There's no easy way around it. But once you take the first steps and actually do it, you think "jesus christ, fuck yeah I can do this."

Try not to think about it 'cuz if you do you might wimp out. Literally, you just have to go for it. Don't overthink what you're gonna say, just do it.
