You could try the guilt card of "Wow that's fucked up". But that won't do much for you.

Look at it from her perspective: She has a good friend who is warning her off, and should she decide to go with you, she's burning a bridge AND taking a chance on you.

Why would she fuck up a friendship, with no guarantee that you two will work out? Even more so because your ex has no doubt by now told her all of your flaws / faults.

If you really think that she's into you enough to go against the advice of a friend, go deeper. Pick her brains a bit.

Girls love deep questions- it fulfills some kind of underlying need, so ask her something like this:

"Why are you willing to let the words of someone, who's very obviously against me for unrelated reasons, rob us of our chance to see where this takes us?"

Don't be afraid to question her motives- It shows her that, just maybe, you care a bit.

It's called a "shit test".

The girl tested you to see what would happen when you were presented with an obsticle. The type of guy she is looking for would have continued on regardless, either by sweeping her off her feet, by making some sort of joke about it, or bypassing the issue with some other means.

Instead, you looked down at your feet and said "OK" in a sheepish tone.

Guess what? You failed her test.

tell the girl that your ex is biased and she should make her own decision. also tell her that the right decision is to suck your penis.
