I'm asking this question for my extremely shy friend who lives over 1000 miles from me(Bobby this is for you). Anyways he is a junior in hs and this one attractive freshman girl has been on his bus this year. She usually listens to her ipod, and doesnt talk much to anybody. After getting off the bus he probally walks with her for about 30 secs or so. He wanted to approach her for quite some time and now has 3 days left. How can he go about doing this without it being to akward or so it doesnt seem that he's trying too hard. Should he get her # and try to hang out over the summer? Also there's this girl at his lunch table that just started sitting there and they talk quite a bit, how can he ask her for her # and to hang out over the summer without it looking bad. This guy is like my brother and he doesn't look bad and he has an awesome personality, he's just shy around girls so please encourage him to do this.

Alright, i empathise becuase i used to be like that so i can kinda understand. Ask ipod girl what music she's listening to, comment on it, see if you two are compatible then if alls well ask for her number. Smile cheekily/cutely when she looks at you after you ask.

Second girl, if she sits on your table then ask goddam it, you must have spoken to her before so go go go.

Sit next to her on the bus, ask her to remind you of something before you get off the bus. Ask her what shes listening to.

For the girl you sit with at lunch and talk to, ask her if she wants to do something on the weekend, go to a party or whatever. Just say we'll wing it. If she says yeah sure, ask her for her number. The girl on the bus... well, don't sit beside her, sit near her. Across would be best. Ask her what music she is listening to (I hope you know a bit about music) and talk about it, ask to see her iPod. I like to get to know the person before I ask them out.
