He was hired about a 2 months ago, after he replaced one of the best managers I'd ever had. He is one of those guys that wont stop talking. He always had something to say, and even worse, something to say about himself. I considered him narcissistic, to say the least.

I won't lie and tell you I welcomed him in to the new possision, seeing as I considered the manager he replaced a friend, and he was "let go" on un fair terms. So, this man walks in to his new job, and immediately begins to give orders like he owns the place. Now, I do know this is his job, but the Main Manager... His boss... Has always earned and maintained our (the rest of the staff) respect. I expected him to do the same, given the touchy situation of having him replace my... our friend.

I worked with him several times, and I began to notice his shallow character. He was 32 years old... and worked as a Co-Manager in a shoe store. To make it worse, when female customers came in he'd make advances on them... some as young as 14 years of age. He has a girlfriend. I was appalled.

Now, this was enough motivation for me to take action against him, because I just did not feel comfortable working with this guy. He was a chauvinistic pig, a womanizer, and down right annoying. He gave intricate lessons on how to do the most menial of tasks. I have worked for this company more then twice as long as he has, and he tells me how to do my job. A six year old could do my job adequately... But, he persisted at helping me develop an utter hatred of him. I witnessed him use several Racial Slurs directed towards minority customers, and I refuse to willingly work with a biggit.

He then began to sexualy harass one of the new employees. She's 16, for christ's sake. She expressed her lack of comfort when she is around this guy to me, and trust me, there would of been plenty of times they would work alone together.

I decided to take action.

I wrote a statement of my greavences against him and why, then contacted the Vice President of Human Resources of the company I work for. I later got my co-worker to write a statement about his sexual harassment towards her.

Today, the District Manager (...Big Boss, so to say) came to work today, and fired him.

I think he knew it was me who caused his loss of a job. Now, I don't know what to make of the situation. Should I worry about him taking action against me? He took the loss of the job well, so I've heard, but is it a situation where I should be on gaurd? Did I do the right thing, Totse? Should I of waited longer to make a judgement of him? Maybe I should of taken action sooner?

Did anything like this ever happen to you?

Um, Irony is tomorrow is my last day at work. I put my 2 weeks in... well... 2 weeks ago, so I'm done. The reason, if anyone is wondering, is because I plan to travel this summer and I won't be able to keep a stable job with my schedual so hectic.

This isn't my first job where I had an asshole boss... I know most of us experience that, it's just life. But, I honostly thought he crossed a line.

I'm either going into criminal, tax, or intellectual property. Criminal is the most dramatic, tax is the best money, and IP is the most fun. I really like IP law, so I think I'll go for it. I think my gift on this earth is to argue with people. I can create logical arguments like nobody's business. Especially against women. They go psycho and try to disprove my logic, but logic prevails, because men have critical thinking and reasoning, and women just have bitching.

Ah, if you knew this guy personally, American Psycho would be the first thought to come in to your head when you met him.

As a Totse member you should be ashamed. You should have recorded and videoed his advances on little girls, the racial slurs etc., and used the information to blackmail him for half his wage. Then when you're bored of that force him to do things and post the videos to US.
