An honest portrait
This is kind of motivated by Nate's thread. Can anyone on here give an honest evaluation of themselves?
I'll try.
I'm 20.
5'11"
Brown and unkempt hair, brown eyes.
I have lots of body hair and a bit of a beer belly.
I drink rarely, but when I do, it's to major excess.
I smoke pot rarely.
I spend a lot of time playing video games.
I have minor acne.
I'm not that physically attractive.
I don't shower every single fucking day.
I trim my nails about once a month...gotta have something to hit those coke bumps with! ;)
I'm a complete slob and practice none of the manners I was taught as a child.
I'm disgustingly intelligent...only disgustingly because I've done nothing good with it. I live at home and work a dead end job when I could be on my way to NASA.
I'm a prick.
I'm brutal in my critiques and advice.
I share what I can with whomever I can...so yes, I'll buy homeless people booze AND food...lord knows they want both, but given a 20, they'll only get one.
I tip well.
I spend much of my free time writing esoteric poetry and drawing insane pictures of demons and women being fuck in the ass by splintered beams.
I'm teaching myself to play guitar, because I'm resting my future on my love for music and my ability to learn quickly and excel in any area I choose.
I get lonely sometimes, and want to cry, but have forgotten how to since becoming such a callous prick.
My future is likely not so bright...I'm choosing to walk a difficult path with a small chance of payoff.
Anyone else want to give totse an honest self-evaluation?

Re: An honest portrait
I know me. I leave it to others to get to know me. In my opinion, this sort of thing is give and take.
I have no desire to sell myself or put a profile out to display myself. Most people can get to know me, but that's a process.
If you are in turmoil or unsure of yourself, then something like this is an excellent idea.
It can often be helpful to take a look at yourself in black and white terms.

Re: An honest portrait
Following your lead...
I'm sixteen, seventeen on the 28th of this month.
Green eyes, light brown / dark blond hair.
I'm female.
Most of the attention I get is due to my larger-than-average breasts, which I HATE and plan on getting a reduction as soon as I can.
I have next-to-no self-confidence, though I try my best to persuade others that I'm insanely confident.
I'm pretty intelligent, but failed most of my exams in school as I was hardly ever there.
I dropped out of college 6 months after I started, as I hated it and it really wasn't my thing.
I'm really having trouble finding a job now. STICK IN AT SCHOOL.
I smoke pot rarely now, as I've cut down a LOT.
I hardly ever have any money.
I drink rarely.
My boyfriend means the world to me.
I have a habit of fucking everything up.
I consider myself generous.
I don't relate to others easily.
I give terrible first impressions.
I'm a complete wanker when I'm drunk.
I'm a complete wanker when I'm sober.
I've got very strong opinions on most things, but I won't shove them down your throat like some people will.
I'm not religious.
I have mild ADHD but I don't use it as an excuse and actually hate people who do.
I've learnt a lot about myself the past few years.
I'm not a bad person, though I've made some bad decisions.
I think my taste in music and my sense of humour are my best personality traits, though physically, I quite like my eyes.
This is getting long, I'll leave it here.

Re: An honest portrait
Lists seem to be the cool way to go.
I'll make a list, but I tell you now, if it were completely honest it'd be a fucking long list, and I have stuff to do today.
My name is Tegan.
I'm eighteen.
I'm a Sagittarian.
Im Australian.
I'm about 5"6, I have brow eyes, and my hair colour changes depending on how I feel in particular months. In summer I cut it short, and then I grow it for winter.
I'm of an average body type, I've recently started going to the gym, and am quickly going from thinnish and soft, to thinnish and muscled. I say thinnish because I don't see my self as thin, nor do I really appear thin. I have wideset shoulders, large breasts and wideset hips. When I wear a tank-top, it looks like I've busted out of prison.
I've had intense depression and most likely have a mild case of Bipolar disorder. I'm incredibly moody, and can become needlessly violent in situations.
I've had two drug overdoses in my life so far. One was intentional, and the other was an accident. A lot of vomiting and hallucinating ensued both times, and each resulted in an overnight stay in the emergency ward, with things stuck all over me.
I consider myself of above average intelligence for someone my age. I have an unbelievable vocabulary and excellent command of the English language, however my spelling and grammar leave much to be desired. I spell check the majority of my posts.
I type fast.
I have a massive superiority complex and I have very little tolerance of people I view as stupid or weak. That makes me sound like as arse, but I can't help it.
I'm very quick to jump when people shit me off and when people start to cry after they've started an argument with me it just makes me angrier.
I don't chew my food properly. My mother says I behave like I've got better things to do than eat. But aside from that I do love to cook. Especially desserts.
Aside from the massive moodiness and fits of anger and violence, I'm quite honestly a really lovely, generous person. I like to share, and I like children.
I'm almost completely art based. I enjoy textiles and design, sketching and photography. I also play the flute.
I'm not very good at math. Some say this is evidence of a disorganized mind. They'd probably be right.
I have a boyfriend who I love very much and puts up with my shit. He play the piano.
I like sex, and I like kissing.
I don't drink or smoke very often.
I rarely smoke weed.
I love going out for dinner.
I dress like a cartoon character and swear like a sailor.
Two words people would probably use to describe me are eccentric and vulgar.
I'm not religious but strongly opinionated.
I give very good advice and critiques, but theyre not very forgiving.
I love to read and watch films.
I like video games and anime. I cosplay, so shoot me.
I have a very low opinion of both genders, and a very high opinion of myself. I think I'd get along a lot better with people if I were male. Maybe I should save up and get the operation.
I'm almost convinced I transcend the time/space barrier.
I love Star Trek, I want to marry Data or Seven of Nine.
I'm not insensitive, and I'll help people if they ask me, or most of the time I'll do it of my own initiative. I won't usually do something if someone who I don't deem has the authority to tells me to.
I like flattery and attention. Most likely to the point where I don't care what kind of attention it is.
And I know this sounds cliché, but I couldn't really give two shits about what other people think or me, or the way I conduct myself. Theyre entitled to their opinions of me, and I'm entitled to mine of them.
There, that was long, and not very comprehensive either.

Who is Nate? Is that me? You still haven't called me, fuckbag.
My real name is Nathan,
I get a kick out of fabricating personalities.
Sometimes I fake mental illness for kicks.
I weigh one hundred sixty pounds.
I have darker, italian skin.
No acne.
I have most of the traits of a serial killer.
I suffer from satyriasis.

Re: An honest portrait
I'm 19. I have a girlfriend who makes me feel secure and comfortable yet demeans my self-worth. I am 5'9" and weigh about 145... I'd consider myself attractive (I've been told I am by both attractive females and attractive gay males). I fancied myself bi, but I'm really not... I just like making out and find guys attractive. I have serious motivation issues and can barely get off my ass to do anything productive. I oscillate between extreme narcissism and extreme self loathing. Actually, that's an exaggeration. I exaggerate. Especially to make people pity me, as if pity were something worth garnering. I'm incredibly intelligent (or maybe just in a narcissistic mood). I love writing-and feel that it's the only thing that comes naturally to me. I'm trying to learn guitar because I feel music is the only form of art given serious mass media attention, and probably one of the few avenues in which I could truly create something. I smoke pot whenever I have it. I stopped coke, but am planning to start when my ex-gf and best friend get back from college. I've (kinda) stopped smoking cigs (.5-1.5 packs a day to 1 or two cigarettes a day, and often none at all). I drink whenever there's an open house. I pop vicodin and xanax whenever i can afford or find them. Mmm I'm a Pisces. I can't cum while fucking my girlfriend but when i masturbate cum in like 20 seconds (when i do cum). My cock's like 5.5 inches. I'm incredibly sensitive. I'm slightly feminine in my mannerisms and have fairly good fashion sense. I don't care about the homeless anymore. I don't care about Africa anymore. I don't care about AIDS anymore. I don't care about dictatorships, animal rights violations, or human rights violations anymore. I just don't care. The guy on the tv has a neck as thick as his head. And is really tall and has curly hair. That is all.

Re: An honest portrait
I'm 19.
6'1, 225
short brown hair, blue eyes.
I work out every day, so I'm pretty cut, with alot of muscle mass.
I run every day as well as play University rugby.
Several years ago I was in a band that released an album which, when released failed to reach nationwide acclaim, kind of died on the vine.
I drink alot, too much. (4 times a week usually)
Smoke weed, but have cut down drastically lately...now only about 2 times a week.
I can play lots of instruments, bass, guitar, drums, piano, harmonica I'm a one man band!!!
I study journalism, eventually will get a PhD in Political Science.
I'm equally at ease with many types of people, no matter how smart they are or what their job is.
I can talk with a pretty good knowledge on a wide variety of subjects...sports, art, music, films, politics...the things I'm not good at are things like science, chemistry, physics, math...if you start talking about these things I will have no idea what you're talking about.
I'm a bit of a douchebag to people I don't know, but I am fiercely loyal to my close friends (many of whom I've known since early childhood.)
I really need intelligence in a girl...I've gone out with my share of beautiful idiots and I found it impossible to respect them.
I never pick fights myself, but I'm smart enough to know when somebody is subtly making fun...in these cases I am quick to fight.
Sometimes I find myself severely nostalgic for high school and all of the friends I've had who left over the years.

If I had a scanner I could use right now, I'd put up some bad ass 11x17 ink drawings I've done of various demons and angels. For now, I can link you over to some *old* pictures. I think the most recent one on this (http://www.angelfire.com/tx6/leviticus/) was in '03. Mostly doodles and my first attempts with my Wacom tablet.
On the dead end career, McDonald's and thousands of debt. I'd have a better job, but I was arrested and lost my ability to drive less than a week before I was set to go to college last year. Fucking blacked out on xanax and alcohol during a 195 mile drive...I somehow reached my destination and made it half way home after trying to kill a friend because he wouldn't give me a beer. (It took me a long time to finally get him to tell me what the hell happened at the party) I woke up in some small town, lost my car, reported it stolen to find out my car wasn't lost, I was. The cop was really nice though...he didn't arrest me or anything, just called my parents and they came and picked me up. After that, my parents pretty much made me sign my car over to them (1500 value car for over 6 grand in debt) or I'd be sued for what I owed them for some other stupid shit I had done in the winter of '05.
I'm only 20...so luckily, I've already had plenty of illegal fun, as my police record and government debts will show....so I got time to work this off and still have less incriminating fun. :)

Don't sell yourself short, ya know. People excel in philosophy and writing, two amazing skills, as a result of giving up on things that just weren't their cup of coffee. It's okay to chase your interests...you don't have to fight against who you are to be the best version of yourself. You can utilize your liking for deep thought and penmanship towards the realization of any dream you have. If you have creativity, are captivated by it, and so enjoy it to the point that it interferes with socially defined success, you have found something to focus on that will allow you to be what you truly know is your best and something that will keep you long secure in your journey through life.
Finding a skill and creating self-discipline is nothing to sulk over; it's something to be glad about.

I'm young. I have a baby girl on the way in four months. I like beautiful women and cars. I actually have a beautiful girlfriend and a Escalade and Lexus SC430.
Going to school to be an abdominal surgeon. I like to brag because I used to be poor and had a POS for a girlfriend, all of this only 8 or so months ago. I like to think about putting my enemies into impossible cat and mouse games and watching it via HDTV.
That is pretty much the cliff notes of me.

May as well follow the trend here...
I am 5'9" and weigh 170lbs
I am 18 years old
I have curly red hair and blue eyes
I have more freckles on my arms that you can possibly count
I dont have too much body hair.
I have never been able to work up the courage to ask a girl out
I have a moderate build, moderate because in the past 2 months ive lost 25lb and plan to lose more
I drink every time I get a chance, and when I do I can't remember the night before
I smoke reefer every chance I get
I bathe every day and keep myself well groomed
I have no temper at all, I will only get into a fight if it is something really important to me(Self Defence, Defence of friends etc...)
I spend alot of my free time climbing trees and listening to my mp3 player
I am regarded as a genius but I have no urge to do any work so my gpa is like 2.5 when it could easily be 3.7-3.8
I have a massive taste in music, I have every thing from Country to Rap to Jpop on my mp3 player
If anybody asks me for help on anything (from Family, Personal etc... to school work) I will do what I can to help them
I know way too much about computers for my own good
I really wanna try Salvia, LCD and Mushies
I like building stuff, usually destructive stuff
I hate politicians more than anything else
I beleive that if a terrorist is cought and sentenced we should not put him/her to death but rather put them in a little concrete cell and tourture them for the rest of their lives so they can't get to heaven and get their 27 whores or whatever it is
Lastily it is prom nite and I am kinda depressed that I didn't go...:(
Um...thats all...

It'd be fine. I like spending extra money on doing some insane shit, even if it's with random strangers.
My brother jokes with me sometimes that my immune system is so strong from hanging out with 'niggers', really I'm just a party monster. We could hit up a ton of parties around July 4th if you don't have family business to attend to. That is if you enjoy slumming around a city for a few hours picking up women, getting twisted, and smoking some ganja...we could hit up Chicago and just cruise around for some parties.

live in NYC
light brown(whiskey) eyes
very black hair
5'7"
weigh between 130-135
as for other things:
-I know I'm intelligent but I just hate it when people tell me that I am, I don't want to give off an image of a "school only" guy, I don't even study and pass all my classes.
-I am actually an immigrant, I wasn't born in the US. and some other things concerning this which no one knows and I won't tell.
-I idolize this guy in HS and vice versa.
- I defeated acne and my skin is clean and clear like a model.
-I actually view my self depending on how other people view me.
I don't know what else to add.

Re: An honest portrait
I'm no good at these, but whatever.
17, 18 in September. Pretty psyched to be able to vote in the next presidential election, even though votes mean nothing.
Physically, eh, I'd say I look pretty average. Six foot one and a half, brown hair, weird maniacal yellow-green eyes when the sun hits just right. I have trouble keeping weight on, hyperthyroidism, and hardly any muscle to speak of.
People seem to like my personality, but I don't see why. I get irritated with company and just want to be alone most of the time.
Like to think of myself as better than everyone I meet. Thing is, I don't meet people because I never socialize. Everyone out there just seems so boring and shallow. I listen to conversations (Creepy? Yeah, probably), and it's always the same shit. "Blah blah blah blah."
Fucked plenty, still haven't found anyone I want to have sex with. A bit narcissistic and arrogant but for good reason. I am better than most people.
I lie a lot. :)

Re: An honest portrait
The OP is pretty similar to myself in some of his points. I wouldnt really call myself abnormally intelligent tho, but I like to think I am. Dont we all.
Im 20
im straight
i used to hate gay because they were fuckin up my confort zone, and im not talking the open ones they were cool with me. i was starting to see gay tendencies with peeps that ran with the straight crowds, or so i thought.. i wasnt scared of em tho i just wanted to kick their asses. so rather than homophobe i was a hate-a-homo. nowadays i dont really care but ill still kick a persons ass if i need to.
I have green/brown/orange brown around the pupils eyes.
im 6' something low
id say i have reasonably good looks, but maybe not good enough for everybody.
ive never had a real girlfriend and i havnt gotten laid
i dont really care about ^ all the time unless i really feel like fucking like real bad n shit, and am getting down on myself about what could be.
Im not a horny enough guy to just take any of the trash (imo) i can freely get. but lately and while i get older and more when im drunk i stop caring so much. i dunno if i like that.
my only real standard for a woman is that she doesnt expect things of me, only herself. I return the favor. i also like them full ideas. and yeah shes got to be pretty.
i am also trying to teach myself to play the guitar, and id say its coming along nice enough.
i am trying to become the best i can be for this life, by my own standards. i dont want conventional success in itself, but i like money as much as the next guy.
i dont play the job game like most people do. i dont take crap from anybody at a shithole payrate, not a manager or a co-worker. this isnt to say i dont do my job to get paid but i sure as hell aint gonna do it with a smile if i dont feel like it.
i have gotten fired more times than i have quit.
i dislike most people because most people dont open up unless they feel safe. i am open because i am my own safety. (of course you gotta be selective with likes/dislikes and opinions sometimes so things dont get troublesome)
i dont fear people or what they think.
i dislike being stuck in the stubborn views of others. its palpable all around me. people who think they know how the world is yet they dont know who i am. its a stupid thing how people give so much strength to their own conclusions. its always either schizophrenic or monistic. and then there are those who just think they are great.
i have little faith in humanity.
i have much hope for everything.
i am willing to shed blood for anything i believe in.
i dont really care about grammar.. well just look at this.
i also walk down a path and am a way that doesnt lend itself to success.
i feel strongly about honesty because i dont want people to see me for who im not, even if its something i want to be.
i hate how people become when they have a job. even if its shitty. and i hate the managers twice as much. if i were to become a manager people wouldnt know it.
plenty of other shit..

Re: An honest portrait
I am ever changing, and never have a real face. I have the same potential of being a murderer as a saint, and am only conditioned by my own mind and memories/past actions. I will never be able to be defined, and contemplate on if I will even be limited to a single body forever seeing as how I can never be limited to anything I ever though I was limited to.
I've been many people and done many things good and bad... At the root of it all is emptiness and because I know this, I am not anyone.
Unless I choose to be. Or the winds push me around.
Nothing I say on this message board matters at all, Ive realized.

I'm five foot eleven.
I'm fifteen years old.
I constantly believe that no one likes me and that everyone is pretending to enjoy my company.
I have dissociative personalities.
My girlfreind dumped me a week ago. I miss her. Lots. I won't beg her to take me back though. I'm too proud.
I'm reasonably good looking, when i get enough sleep.
I regularly drink and smoke cannabis.
I'm having real trouble finding people who understand me.
I'm awesome at playing guitar. I love it.
I'm scared of trying hard and then failing so i refuse to try at all.
I lie about stupid things.
I'm considered highly intelligent, but my eccentricity, lack of motivation, disorganization and generally "being different" get in the way of my school work.
I'm fairly popular at school, but i'm still extremely anxious socially.
I lied when i said i drink alcohol regularly, it's more than just regularly, i'm an alcoholic.
I told my best freind i couldn't go out today becuase i wanted to stay in. He was sad. I didn't care.
Insomnia is killing me.
I'm horny.
That's about it. If you're in london then come chill with me, i enjoy meeting new people.

Re: An honest portrait
I'm 18
Live at home
I'm good looking but have very low self esteem because I? was ugly in the past, and can't seem to think like im not ugly anymore.
Failing out of college (not because I'm stupid, I'm actually very smart, i just haven't shown up to class since the second week of school)
Smoke weed daily, multiple times a day
Drink about once or twice a week, but its getting more frequent
I'm the typical under-achiever, my parents set their standards too high for me, and to repay them for it, my mind gave them a sub-concious "fuck-you" by not caring about school
I hate organized education, anything beyond reading, writing, history and basic math shouldn't be taught in school, why do we need multitudes of classes to tell us how to have a profession and to make money? Why couldn't it just be a master/apprentice system like artisans used to have in the middle ages/renaissance?
I have no goals in life, and no motivation, I started playing guitar at the age of 13, only to give it up one year later for bass, which i gave up a year later as well, for you guessed it, nothing.
I'm unemployed and have been for 3 months now, with no urge to get a job.
I'm a compulsive liar, manipulator and a cheat, if theres anyway i can lie, manipulate or cheat my way into getting something, i will.
Lastly but not least, for some reason, lately ive wanted to get into a fight, and to let myself lose, everyone needs to get their ass kicked once in a while, i just figure I'm over-due...
That's it, Monday, I'm going up to the biggest black dude i can find at college, and I'm gonna get my ass kicked.

Re: An honest portrait
I'm 17. 18 in December
Weigh 65 kgs
Not sure how tall I am, but I'd say average
I have dark dark brown eyes, almost black
brown hair
I'm not sure if I'm attractive or not, I have days when I think I'm fucking sexy, then I have days when I think I'm ugly as hell
I tend to think too much, the littlest comment can have me thinking for ages
I come off as a confident person, but I always have that self-doubt in the back of my mind.
I'm a party animal, I pretty much live for the weekend. And am bored during the weekdays. This pisses me off.
I'm not an angry guy, though I can get pretty nasty when I lose my temper.
I lost my virginity to a girl I didn't really like when I was 16. I pretty much did it because my best mate lost his and because the girl was pretty hot. We ended up going out for 2 months but I dumped her because she was too clingy.
I'm a social person, though I don't mind a little alone time every now and then.
I used to have a lazy eye when I was younger, but it's pretty much gone now, and only comes back when I'm really tired.
I get attached to girls too easily.
I graduated high school last year, I then went to tafe for a couple of months doing a course in multi-media but it was boring to me and i skipped so many classes that I quit.
I give in to peer pressure easily.
I now only work 1 day a week as a laborer at a garden art workshop (making fountains and shit)
I swear a lot.
My parents think I have an alcohol problem
I act like an idiot when I'm drunk
I occasionally smoke weed, only at parties though
I'm starting to get a beer gut, but you can see the top half of my abs
I got a hairy ass
I mainly listen to rap, hip hop and R&B
I love graffiti, I tag sometimes, when I have a marker or some paint on me.
I have a wide social network ranging from criminals to nerds.
I used to masturbate everyday, but now I cut it down to once or twice a week.
Have only had 1 girlfriend in my life
I think this list is getting too long
I was the class clown at school
I act dumb on purpose because it's so much more fun acting like a retard.
I don't mind the serious discussion every now and then.
Sometimes I can be a mean person.
I love my parents but feel that I'm just a burden to them.
I haven't got my drivers license yet, but I'm going for it in 2 weeks and I'm not sure if I'll pass.
I can't think of anymore.
I'm a great drawer, mostly draw cartoons though

Re: An honest portrait
-I'm caucasian, very pale.
-I don't have perfect skin, but I don't look like a pile of boils either.
-I have greyish blue eyes
-My hair is naturally a very light warm-toned blonde
-Right now my hair is darkish auburn with some pretty obvious blonde roots.
-I have a good body type, pretty much able to eat everything in sight and stay thin.
-I have these tiny little breasts. (srsly)
-I have a larger than normal ass.
-LoL measurments: 34-24-42. See, huge ass.
-I am average height, 5ft 8in
-I like to draw and otherwise "create" things on paper, with computers, do webpages etc. I have an excellent eye for design. It's my only really refined skill as well as my only real hobby.
-I am a total dork. I do ridiculous things all of the time.
-I play video games more than I am at work (and I work 50 hours a week, don't ask me how I do it.)
-I play D&D on the weekends with my friends and boyfriend. (yeah, people who play D&D can get laid... by other people who play D&D.)
That's about it I suppose.
Oh, I guess if you are interested in seeing any of my artwork, kamikazekam.deviantart.com

Re: An honest portrait
I'm good. I'm average looking but when my skin clears up I'll be above average.
I have lots of quirks, I'm selfish, self absorbed, devoted, loyal, loving, jealous, generous and extremely paranoid.
There is a lot of room for improvement, and always will be. I realize that's what makes life fun: striving towards perfection and self improvement.

Re: An honest portrait
sixteen,
almost 5'3, but i wouldn't mind being shorter. people either think i look way shorter or way taller than i actually am, either like 5' or 5'7 or so.
i am of "tiny" build but i don't really know, i don't know what to gauge my size against because all my friends are way taller than me.
my hips are really high. my whole torso is quite short and squashed and it's so ugly. it makes it look like my legs start stupidly high because my waist is so high. there's a two finger gap on my side between my bottom rib and hip.
because of my dumb body shape i make lots of clothes and alter all my clothes. i just bought a pattern to make a shift dress. i will be recycling this pattern a lot. i like sewing.
my legs are whack. from the side, my calves look as if they are as thick as my ankle the entire way up. i have potato knees and my thighs have the same circumference as JukeboxHero's bicep.
i have inrolling feet, mostly on my right side, so all my shoes get fucked within two months and it looks stupid.
my feet and ankles have always been completely fucked and i had insoles and cast things until i was eleven and refused to wear them anymore. the palce i went for my ankles had a huge play thing in the middle, but i think i may have dreamt what it looks like. i dream stuff up a lot.
mostly my body is shagged because i'm hypermobile. lots of kids are hypermobile when young, but it's quite unusual for it to carry on into teens or adulthood. i have horrid posture and no awareness for my body because of it. so i ake a huge effort to hold myself best i can and it makes me look like i'm really rich and was born with a silver spoon in my mouth.
i am an enigma in almost every possible way. even just looking at me from two different angles, i can look like a completely different person. at school i'm ridiculous, some days i finish the classwork, homework and extension work with half hour of the lesson left. other days i can't actually hear what my teacher is saying and i can't read, i often just can't read. it doesn't look like writing, just like squiggles.
i've gotten really really stupid over senior school. when i was ten i was selected to do maths gcse in a year, and i got a B. now i hate maths, i haven't listened in a lesson or done any work in a year and am not even taking it for AS.
i am very very wonderful at art. i was amazing as a little kid and was put into gifted and talented schemes and took painting classes with senior school students when i was six. i hated art through out most of senior school, idk why. then i loved it again when we started our portrait coursework, portraits are what i do best. and i actually do them well. it drives me mad when people say they're good at portraits when in fact they're shit and they look awful. i drew then inked a pictiure of my boyfriend's cousin and convinced him the picture i took of it on my camera was a photograph. art is one thing i am always getting better at and will actually brag about :)
i used to play bassoon quite well, i loved it a lot. but i quit last year because i was being forced to do six hours of orchestra's a week + practice or i'd lose my free lessons at school.
i did irish dancing for eleven years, but lost out on a place in a touring class to the judge's neice. i stopped all dancing. i'd like to do it again but i'm scared i'll be rubbish and not get back into it.
i don't like numbers written as the number unless there is a symbol before or after, or the number is higher than eighty-nine, and i don't like watching things download because i watch the numbers to note it at half way, 66%, 90%. when i watch things on youtube i do it too and it ruins everything i'm trying to watch. i have to have the youtube box thing in the middle of the page height.
i rarely straighten my hair because i think it looks stupid and i know it annoys two of my snob friends :)
when i go out with said snob friends i always where kiddie's bras and clothes that make me look as flat chested as possible. i think it looks lovely, but they hate it.
my favourite food is bran.
i can't eat chocolate lately, but i still like buying it. i think i loved buying chocolate more than i liked eating it. so i go into a shop and buy the most attractively wrapped chocolate and keep it in the bottom drawer of my wardrobe. last thursday i spent £6.75 on pretty chocolate in selfridge's. i'm still searching for the perfect looking chocolate bar. i think it would be like a 100g hershey bar in america, but i just can't find a bar wrapped like that in england. i love my chocolate stash. silver wrap with a paper sleeve, but it has to be of a good ratio in size. 8:5 length to width, with a thickness about 25% of the width. i spend too long thinking about it. some nights i get an idea about someting and i can't sleep all night i'm so desperate to do it.
i always start making a meal but don't want to eat it by the time it's finished.
i could talk about food all day long, and all those other food type things.
i always bend too far over when i throw up, and my head goes below my heart and i end up with tonnes of broken blood vessels around my eyes.
i can talk so much, and i can make the most pathetically long and rambling posts.
i talk and talk about anythinggg.
i dumb myself down when i meet new people. mostly because i'm used to talking to grammar school kids, and my idea of a dumb person is someone in a lower set at a grammar school. meeting an actually dumb person freaks me outttt.
i spend too much money on magazines. much too much like you wouldn't believe.
i love magazines.
i love fashion. you have to really know fashion to appreciate it. understanding karl is like finding the missing link.
i have a lot of clothes but i don't feel comfortable in many of them. i can't find clothes i like in the shops these past few months, that's why i'm working on and towards so many sewing projects.
i hate seeing someone in the street wearing the same clothes as me, or in the same outfit. today i wore a t-shirt, black tights, heart print socks and pink tap shoes with ribbons- i don't often find myself wearing the same outfit as someone else. i didn't actually look too much of a pleb today.
capital letters bother me sometimes. online i find they make posts and ims look aggressive. it's another way of "dumbing down" myself. i think.
i can't just say simple single clauses about myself. i have to go on and on and say huge whole paragraphs of crap!
with 90% of people i know i am really quiet and don't care if we don't talk. with 10% i get mad if they neglect me.
i get really upset if my boyfriend neglects me, so he doesn't very often at all.
i care for my boyfriend a lot.
it used to be that i was the one who had more people being attracted to them, but now i think he's much better looking than me, but i'm not sure. he's way too thin and it upsets me that my boyfriend is so much thinner than me and makes me feel like a whaaaale.
i am charming and have a natural magnetism.
i can get most new people to warm towards me and coo over me.
i have long hair, it's mostly extensions because my hair is so fine. i'm a perfectionist with everything; noone can tell my hair is fake :) my hair is a warm dark blonge right now, naturally it's this but much more ginger. i wish my hair was redder than it is. when i finish senior school i am going to dye it very very red! then go off to a new college where i can be who i am outside of school and not get stuck with being who i've been since year nine. that's mostly why i'm so quiet at school. if i dyed my hair back to red now or got the dye stripped, my friends woiuldn't shut up about it. one was bleached hair and it's disgusting, her hair used to be really thick and shiny and dark blonde, but now it's straightened to a thin frazzled fuck and she has the cheek to critique every part of my appearance. i play up a lot to annoy her because she bothers me. another friend i like to annoy with my appearance is fiona, she wishes she had an attitude problem and is probbaly going to get kicked out because of it. she's stupid and has an ugly hair cut. she got a manicure with diamontes on her toes.
i am a priss who writes way too much.

Re: An honest portrait
I hadn't really thought of it like that. I guess I'm just greedy... wanted to be good at everything. Thank you!
