Me and a friend are thinking about breaking into the source to grab a 360 one of these nights. I love in a town with only about 6000 people so we figure it would be best on a late school night when everyone is in bed. All the windows are barred except for the door which is one big window. Im thinking of just smashing the window, run in, grab the 360 and take off. No more then 30 seconds in and out. Would this be a good idea? How long do you suppose it would take the cops to get there?

I say do it. SWIM was thinking about grabbing a PSP from the display cases, cause the source around here only has games, not an actual console.

don't let any one see you and you are cool. just be fucking quick. and don't get on the cameras earlier in the day planning in the store.

go in a day or 2 before and spot out the fastest way to get there from the window your going to be breaking. also do they keep them in display cases or put them in the back at night. you wont want to break through the window and then find nothing and then 1 minute while your lookin 30 cops show up

Bad Idea. They catch you on video scoping out back doors and such...then catch the robbers going by that same route...Maybe not enough to convict, but its still shit you have to deal with.

Though finding out if they lock up the consoles at night is actually a really good idea.

Take 2 Xboxes, and have a getaway driver ready to get the fuck out of there. Or better yet, steal a shopping cart, ram it through the window, and quickly fill it with shit, then drive it up a ramp coming off the back of a van or something, and go.

I work for the Source by CC, and sadly I think this is pretty possible. It's a seperate or adjoined building this one is in? They may lock up their consoles in the back, in a large cabinet, and any display boxes (not on high shelves) are dummies, so you're fucked if you try those. Depending on alarms, you'll probably just attract a lot of attention from nearby, cops are 5-10 min or so. Better be worth it for one measly 360.
