Long story short here.

I was thinking about a long time ago, when I was "happier" there was always this girl I liked, and eventually I kinda left.

I left for personal reasons, and I didn't want to deal with some shit that was going on. I'm not really sure if she knew that I liked her, and how much I really cared. I kept her out of a lot of trouble, more than she probably would ever realize.

I was really close with her brother and mother, and I am positive they both knew. Me and her mother used to talk about a lot of stuff from current events, to philosophy, and personal beliefs. They enjoyed having me around.

I get out of here in 6 months * training* and I am going back home for probably two weeks.

I was wondering if I should go back and "talk" to her. I am assuming she hasn't changed much as far as she always chose a "bad guy", not saying I am better, but I know that I would treat her a lot better than any of the guys I remember.

Start on the whole friends note, and hang out and keep, keeping on. And keeping in touch. See how things progress.

Any advice?

You're a genius! getting close to her family will now let you use their house in a little more freedom.

Try to take pictures of the home, and more of the females bedroom. Then we plan on hidden camera locations.
