The girl I asked out...
Ok... drama ensues:
The background- (We're both seniors) And she's only in my physics class. I'm not going to ball, but she is, but only with this guy as a FRIEND (confirmed by one of her friends).
The scenario- Well, since I missed my chance to ask her to ball, I asked her (since she doesn't have a boyfriend) if she wanted to go out sometime after ball. And her response was "I don't know what I'm doing after ball, but ask me about when ball gets closer...yeah...deffinently", and thats how the AIM convo took place. So i was like "ok, will do". The reason she didn't know what she was doing after ball, is because college is like right around the corner (in august) ball is June 2nd)
The Questions- How do I react? What does this mean (interpretation please)? Good or bad? What should i say, and how should i, and when? Basically, what should my next move be?
Thank you in advance, I am confused:( , and I would appreciate if you could answer my questions... Thank you again :)

Re: The girl I asked out...
Hm. You've got a chance, I think.
Do you just want to get in her pants or do you genuinely like her?

Re: The girl I asked out...
I'm kind of confused...Are you trying to get her to go to ball with you or just go out with you at some point? If its the latter, just ask her to do something any random weekend (since the guy she's going to the ball with is just a FRIEND) but if you're trying to make her go to the ball with you...I don't think theres much u can do.
From her response it looks like she might be receptive...after ya talk to her a bit more and etc.

Re: The girl I asked out...
I'm trying to go out with her after (or maybe before, if at all possible) the ball. And no, I dont want to just get in her pants. I think she is the most beautiful girl ever, though i havnt told her that (that I think shes so pretty)... soooo, ya:(
EDIT^^ also, what does "receptive" mean, or what do you mean by that?

Re: The girl I asked out...
Well, I was in the same situation you were in, except I was going with the girl, and it turned out she wanted to just go as friends, and I didn't get any. But that didn't bug me nearly as much as the fact that I managed to fall for another girl only to not have the feelings returned, once again. On prom night.
So I'm not going to give you my advice, because it won't help you.

Re: The girl I asked out...
I meant that from what she said it looks as though she might be open to going on a date with you at some point. Or at least doing something...Just keep communication lines open, have a few conversations, and ask her to do something someday. Be like "Hey, you doin anything tn? No? Well would you like to ______ (insert whatever you wanna do)"

Don't trust the bitch's friend.
True litmus test right here: Ask her to go out this weekend (and make sure you get it across that you want to go out, as in date). If she says no, or makes up excuses why she's busy all friday, saturday, and sunday, then she either doesn't like you, or fucking her "friend". If she says yes, then you've scored.
Either way, you can stop pussyfooting around with this drama.
