Being seen as more than a friend
So this is my problem - I don't know how to talk to girls.
Not in the way that most guys on here don't, for me it's different.
You see, I find talking to females easy, I am always calm and confident around them, always being friendly and a pretty cool kinda guy.
But the thing is, every single girl I know sees me as a really great friend.
Girls say I'm "cute", "sweet", "funny", "easy to talk to", "kind", "friendly", the list goes on.
But not one sees me as anything more than a friend.
So my question to Totse - how is it that I can have such a positive effect on women, but never in a way that makes them like me as anything more than a friend?
How should I be acting differently to what I am now?
I'm not ugly, I'm not fat, I have no disabilities or anything that would make me any worse than the next guy. At the risk of sounding up myself, if I was a girl I'd definitely like me as more than a friend ;)
But none of them do.
Help? Ideas? Advice? Rohypnol?

Re: Being seen as more than a friend
Yeah, I'm 17 if it really matters lol.
I just fail to see why I've only ever had one girlfriend while all my friends (who really have nothing that I don't have) have a long history of girlfriends & hookups, and are always finding new ones.
I mean I'm not claiming to be some kind of sexy-beast, but surely I can't be that bad??

Re: Being seen as more than a friend
Well, your friends know you better than we do, so why don't you ask them if they think there's something wrong with you that would impair your ability to pull women?

Re: Being seen as more than a friend
The reason you only have girls who are friends is probably because you dont make a move that suggests that you want to be more then friends. In essense girls are not aggresive, thus men make the first moves. If you wait for them to make the move, you will be left in the dirty by their feminine nature.
Stop being a pansy. stop being afraid of rejection. Start showing them what you feel subtly and get stronger. Ask them out on dates, subtly if possible and not just as a fun hangout. Dont be afraid of rejection, everyone has been rejected. Look at teh Black guys, they "holla" at all the girls they see walking by on campus. They might get rejected nine times out of ten, but atleast they still get 1 number. They make sure htey tell the chick they mean "business" and not friendship.
When asking them out, just be like "You and me can chill at the mall and see a movie" (Highschool line) She will get the message. If she asks who else is coming be straight with her and tell you want to know her etc. Dont be to needy or desperate though, remeber that you want what you cant get. Finally and most imporantly dont hang out with other friends, they are just extra baggage. Just you and her.
Good luck and if possible post your pic, let totse judge your appearance and dont be afraid that we might find you unattractive. Maybe someone might like you :)
