K the question, basically every 3-5 days I go to this gas station to get a pack of fags. There a girl(always my problem) that works there, she is really nice from what little convo I've had. Really cute, borderline hot. At least to me. She seems to be no older than 21. But I know next to nothing about her. How would you guys suggest I approach her on the basis of becoming a friend at the very least?

It isn't stupid, it is a world wide man problem. Girls in the service industry are ALWAYS getting hit on by guys. It is their job to be nice and have some conversation with you.

It is nearly impossible to tell when they actually like you, even as a possible friend, or they are just doing their job. Even if you do just want to be friends, which you don't, you want to bone her, she will think you are just trying to get laid.

Think of something to say before you go in, try to turn it into a decent conversation. If their is a line up, let the other customers go ahead of you, and keep making eye contact with her. Plan your conversation out as much as you can before hand, with several different things to say as a backup plan.

Heck, she may not even be a smoker, and be disgusted by how much you smoke.
