She likes my friend but I like her... Help.
I've seen alot of threads lately about this topic.
They usually go along the lines of:
"I met a girl, she flirted with me, but later flirted with my friend...
...Help me, what should I do to get her back/attention?"
I know that many people have been in a situation like this, and I'm sure most of them ended up badly... But, am I the only one that can see a flaw in the way people think when it comes to this?
I mean, what ever happened to finding a girl that likes you back... and only you. I feel that females who flirt and "show intrest" in more then one guy should be ignored in every sense.
Just ask youself, do you really need to "win her"? Is she really that important that you should woo her everytime she meets another guy? Girls like this are almost always trouble. They don't deserve the attention most men give them (no offense to all women, just the conniving whores).
Totse, what ever happened to waiting for "the one". I've always found that if you push to start a relationship... You'll have to push to keep it going.
...Am I right?
Advice? Flame? Opinions? Etc.

You shouldn't spend all your life "waiting." There's always going to be competition whether you like it or not. But the good thing about being a male is that you can be the ugliest motherfucker on the planet but if you've got confidence and a silver tounge you should have no problem with females.

I agree with this, all I was saying is... Don't waste your time on the girls I was describing.
We deserve better. If you've got the "confidence and silver tounge", use it to find a girl who isn't a complete conniving whore who can be taken away by another guy with slightly better "confidence and a silver tounge".

Never, NEVER ask if it is worth chasing pussy. Pussy is always worth the chase.
Wouldn't you rather look back on bad pussy you've had, rather than wonder if it was good or bad. Bad pussy is still pussy. And you never know - it may be the tightest, freshest piece of pussy on the planet.....

I think regardless of whatever girl you are looking for or "waiting" for, you should already know other men who want her as much as you do.
I don't believe there is the "one" for any of us. You have to go out there and meet them. Well maybe if you're really lucky you'll find the girl of your dreams that you've always been waiting for but even if you do, how would you know she is truly the one if you haven't tried several others.

I don't believe in the "one." I do believe there are a lot of "ones" you just need to find them, and you never know it can just as well be the conniving whore you THOUGHT you didn't like.

Re: She likes my friend but I like her... Help.
You guys are missing the point.
I'm not saying to stop chasing girls, in general, only to stop chasing the girls that are chasing other boys.
There's a difference there...
One of them can lead to a happy relationship.
And,
The other can lead to A.I.D.S.
When it comes down to it, the chose is yours and yours alone... Just wanted to give a warning.

So you don't think girls should chase guys - they should just sit back and wait for guys to come to them? If you can chase girls, there is nothing stopping girls chasing guys. Nothing at all!
This isn't the 1950's any more - if girls want to chase guys, they can. It says nothing about their personality if they do, except that mabey they aren't hung up on old sexist views of the world.
I'd rather go out with a girl that has a great personality, or one that is cute, or something. What she does before we start going out is almost irrelevant.
Stop listening to your church buddies and your parents, and get out and enjoy the world. And stop trying to ram your sexist views down our throats.

You missed the whole point of this thread.
Re-read my first post.
All I wanted to do is tell the people in the situation I stated... that it's not worth it. They deserve better then an immature girl who doesn't know what she wants.
It's that simple. You read far too deep in to this.
I know I asked for opinions, flames, etc. but please, don't judge my view as being sexist, out dated, and biased.
I mean, if you honostly think that it's ok for a girl to flirt with you, and your friend... then your friend gets her, and you need advice to win her back... Then please, don't procreate.

OK - I've gone back and re-read your original post. You stated "I feel that females who flirt and "show intrest" in more then one guy should be ignored in every sense."
In my view, thats sexist and outdated, unless you say the same thing about guys. You are implying that girls should just wait for a single guy, only flirt with him, and let him choose her. Girls can and should flirt, go out with and have sex with whoever they want up until they find their special one. So should guys.
It sounds like you've had some issues with girls - that sux, really. But get over it, and realise girls and guys can do whatever the fuck they want, despite what you think.

Re: She likes my friend but I like her... Help.
That's one way of looking at it FK. But then again there's one thing you haven't taken into consideration: The thrill of the chase.
Most guys, when they're young at least like to have a little challenge.
It's more fun than finding "the one" and being happy for the rest of your life. Going out and trying to pick up women is fun. Having to actually use your brain, your cunning and prowess to gain a girl's affection is great!
I agree that pushing for a relationship isn't the greatest idea in the world though. It should just come naturally when "the one" comes along by which time it's usually better to give up the chase and grow up a little.

Hahaha. That is so true. It makes a lot of sense. This situation is kind of going on with my friend and this chick (only I am the one she likes, not him). Man, you explained it almost perfectly.

Re: She likes my friend but I like her... Help.
I'm getting some pretty good feedback.
I s'pose it all depends on the type of person you are. Personally, I find situations like this appalling, and they almost always lead to pain.
I've just noticed that most of the time these situations usually surround teens. I can see these situations giving good opportunity to gain some well needed experience in life, and learning a valuable life lesson... But, I always believed that if you educate yourself, you can avoid the trouble of learning it first hand.
'Tis all I was trying to do.
...I was wondering if there's anyone in the middle with this subject, so far there's pretty much just been a debate from both sides of the spectrum.
