ive heard rumors about this movie. the newest and best info i have on it so far came from the last evil dead video game. in one of the "extras" i unlocked bruce campbell talks about it. he says that all 3 franchises are talking about it and open to the idea, but no one really knows if it will actually get made yet. this game is from 04 or 05 though, and all the news ive read online about the movie seems to be from the same time. does anyone know anything new about this movie?

Well I don't think it's ever going to be made, but if it was...
I don't think I'd pay to see it in theaters, but it totally sounds like a great thing to rent if I'm just hanging out drinking with people.
I hope it gets made and Ash ruins everyone's shit.

They've been talking about this movie for a while now but I don't really see how they could pull it off, I mean we ALL know that Ash would "win".

Nah, just to make EVERYONE look like fools, Freddy and Jason would off him in the first scene, then turn to the camera and laugh for the next hour and a half. Roll credits.

They scraped the project over a year ago, I read the one of the script on line, and it didn't seem like the had a good story line, it was mostly about the power of the three book, one for each person.

These types of movies are ALWAYS fucked up by the studios.

They probably wouldn't get Bruce Campbell and they'd make it with someone else and the story would be mostly a comedy instead of good action/horror scenes, and it would suck ass.

What the fuck is the point of this,honestly? This sounds like the worst idea for a movie ever. Aliens and predators have a history together and so do Freddy Krueger and Jason,so that makes SENSE for them to "battle". This seems like they're just throwing shit in there for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

did freddy and jason have any connection? i havent seen atleast 90% of both series but i always thought they were completely seperate.

and aliens and predators never had any connection. i saw all the alien movies and all of predator 1 (and about 75% of 2) and there was never any connection between them. it just seemed like a good idea to have them go head to head. and it could have made a killer movie too, but they really fucked up somehow.. not saying i could do better, im just saying im sure someone could have done better.

Ya, I think the only connection, is they were kings of their genre.
