Barcodes on Beer
Are the barcode's on beer cans used as a scare tactic, or are they real?
Seem's to me that would be costly to have real barcodes on all those beer can's...

Re: Barcodes on Beer
Bar codes are worthless to common civilians not affiliated with merchants.
Or the bottom line is, they don't do shit. Nothing that would seriously concern you should you attempt to do anything malicious with said items.
Their purposes are for inventorying.

The only things that set alarms off are RF and Electro magnetic strips and the rest.
Barcodes do fuck all.

Re: Barcodes on Beer
Those barcodes are these so when the Beer is being made, the machines in the factory know where to send it.
I.E. It says what area of the factory to send it, which box to go to, and what number in the box it is.
...If you seriously thought it set off alarms, then by all means, you shouldn't be drinking beer.

The barcodes are real. When I go buy a can of beer, they scan the can.
But the barcodes don't set off the sensors at the door.
