Question aluminum powder

hey i was just wondering if any of you know like what to disolve aluminum in and then extract it in powery for using like a replacement reaction with a (higher?) reactive metal?, maybe just hydrochloric acid or sulfuric? not sure any help or like comments appreciated.

2 Al + 6 HCl → 2 AlCl3 + 3 H2
2 AlCl3 + 3 Mg → 2 Al + 3 MgCl2

The only thing is that most metals like Mg that will work... are much more useful than Al.

........Good start, poor finish. better would be to use a hard metal file or maybe a hacksaw blade? the blade might be pushing it, but it depends on a few things. From there, use your ball mill of course and don't forget to swap air every few hours. You don't want molten slag now do you?

Btw, most tubes of Al arn't pure, so take this into consideration.
