Lightbulb Diy blender

after wtaching a couple shows on will it blend(www.willitblend.com) I decided that i wanted to have my own blender. so i got to thinking that it had to be at least mains power. btw no gas becuse i want to run it inside. then i thought that 120 wasn't a enough, 220 nah, so then i came to the conclusion of making a 440 electric blender(there is 440 electric at my family brick plant for the aircompressor). also the container is going to be made out of steel. i am either going to buy, build, or find an electric moter in a junkyard. i am now thinking about going to three phase(also at the brick plant for the dryer blower) and it would be designed like anyother blender. except the thingy at the bottem would be reinforced and the top would be twistlock. feel free to ask questions and comment.

Irrelevant, as most my posts here now are, is my long standing great idea of running a cooking show where you use powertools to cook with, not in a geeky way but in a lazy male way.

You should make it big enough so you can use a whole 40 to make margaritas.

There's already a bunch of youtube videos on that. They're hilarious. I think it's called cooking with powertools or something.

How big is this mother fucker going to be, and what is it going to be used for? 440 power? Are you trying to blend margaritas for the entire party.

yeah pretty much I was thinking about using a 55 gallon steel drum. I am forgetting about 3 phase and going for 440, as for use a friend of mine owns a fairly big restaurant and he needs a bigger blender. so I had the idea of making a huge blender. I am now thinking about making the tool at the bottom out of a titanium alloy, so that i don't have to worry about it breaking.

Sounds cool. How are you going to keep it sterile and empty it?

There is going to be an inside liner made out of diy stainless steel. and to clean it i am just going to remove the moter and put in and end cap. then just use the spray nozzle used to clean the dish's at the restaurant.
