What books are you currently reading?

I'm coming up on the end of the Jenny Casey trilogy (Hammered, Scardown, and Worldwired) by Elizabeth Bear. I actually met the author last weekend.

I am reading a lot of books right now...

War and Peace - Leo Tolstoy
Two Treatises On Government - John Locke
The Elegant Universe - Brian Greene
The Prince - Machiavelli
The God Delusion - Richard Dawkins
The Godfather - Mario Puzo
Existentialism and Human Emeotions - Jean-Paul Sartre
Fight Club - Chuck Palahniuk

Yeah... I'll go pick up a book, read it for a few hours then put it down for a week or two and move on to another. That's why I constantly have a bunch of books that I'm only partway through.

Tolstoy kicks ass, but how can you read so many different books at the same time? I can only read one, maybe two, at a time.

Jane Austen - Northanger Abbey

Joseph Conrad - The Secret Sharer

Just finished The Beach by Alex Garland. Hella good.

On The Road - Jack Kerouac

Au revor les enfant - Louis Malle

And im studying Romeo and Juliet as well.

it is just OK

Philosophy in the Bedroom - Sade

The Founding - Dan Abnett.

It's not big and it's not clever but the WH40k fiction satisfies the side of my brain that loves large scale war and stompy robots.

Next up is Storm Front, to see if The Dresden Files books are worth getting into.
