I'm getting really fucking sick and tired of all these "try so-and-so hard drug once and you're addicted for life" shit these past few days I've been back.

It's like Psychedelics, if your first trip revolves around you hoping you don't have a bad trip, you will.

I had no fear of a bad trip when I first took Mushrooms, Acid, whatever, and until this day, I've never had a bad trip.

I wasn't afraid of getting addicted to cocaine, and surprise, I'm not addicted to it. I haven't done it in almost a year (minus one time) after I decided to stop.

However when I started smoking cigarettes at 15 I knew they were fifteen and I kept saying I'd probably get addicted. Now I want to quit and am not being successful.

It's all in the mind.

Don't get me wrong, crack can be one voraciously fucked up drug. Yes, you can become addicted on the first hit, but lets look at what constitutes addiction. Addiction is the mental or physical dependency that a person places on a drug. Crack gives you this unnatural, almost alien rush and it seriously fucks your brain up for a while.

Crack is one of the most miserable drugs to get addicted to. Its so not worth it, you start to fiend for your next hit even before you get done exhaling your first (this is all by account from my neighbor who has been hooked on crack and used to sell it). He said the joy of crack isn't in the high itself per se, but more the fact that its the ritual of loading it into the pipe, lighting up, and sucking that glass dick.

If you need to try a drug that kicks ass, but isn't quite so bad for you, look into LSD or if you're looking for a short-term hiatus from reality completely, try Salvia. Neither of these drugs are addicting, neither will make you FIEND for another hit, and neither will make you throw all your cash away on some vain chemical that is over-hyped, and generally just a shitty thing to do anyways.

Ok this might be true or a myth, I don't know I'm not a crack head. But doesn't the high only last around 5 or 10 minutes? So once it ends you want to smoke another rock?
