Long Version:

Ok awhile back I made a thread about a first dates and what to do in them. So Today I kind of had an "unofficial first date" kinda thing with a girl who I have a lot of feelings for. She's a little older than me but it doesn't bother me.

She found out that I like to run and so we went for a little run together, the whole time we were talking about our childhoods and how our day went. We ran on some trails by my house so I gave her some brief history on a few places we ran by (she's not from around were I live).

So we ended up getting back to her car and talking for about another 25-30 minutes about traveling and what we'd like to do when were older. I used the cocky-funny attitude and it worked pretty well and we where "jokingly" bashing each other. However there were some silent moments and I didn't get not a hug out of it.

Short Version:

So I went running with this girl I like and she shares some (from what I can tell) attraction with me and she said she had a good time and all however she didn't hug or kiss me after ward and there where a few silent moments in our conversation.


Im seeing her again after the weekend so what should I say to her????

Thanks for the encouragement. Im thinking about asking her out on another date, however I want to be kinda sutle about it and go slowly with this relationship. I couldn't help but feel awkward during our "date because I didn't know her very well.
Is there any kind of date we could go on that will "break the ice more"?

You're the guy, it's your job to make the first move. Go out with her again, get to the point it was today, and then make a move. If was goinjg as well as you said it will you will have no problem.

For date ideas just go out for dinner and a movie or something. The setting isn't really a problem unless you are both having a good time.
Just remember to keep sexual tension, or you will end up in the 'friends zone'

Your right I think, I think she was expecting something out of me. She showed some signs like a kind of sucking on her teeth noise and sighing a lot yet she still kept eye contact with me. When I see her on monday the first thing i'll do is give her a big hug.

Does anyone know what signs to look for when a girl wants to be kissed? I have an idea but a definite answer would be nice.

As far as "using the cocky/funny attitude" JESUS FUCKING CHRIST- I hate whatever internet article it was that perpetuated not being yourself was the way to go.

If you're not cocky / funny do NOT use this approach- You may get a courtesy laugh, but they see through it VERY quickly. Also, if you ever want to have any kind of meaningful relationship with this girl, the cocky / funny mask has to come off sometime, and then you leave her wondering just who the hell you really are; NOT a good situation..

When looking for signals about the smooches: If the situation isn't screaming it, and you're not feeling a tad adventurous (Read it again. ADVENTUROUS, not rapist) don't try it. Then you will fuck it up, and she may in fact never speak to you again.
