Seriously though, I feel kinda bad. I recently found out her last name, months after we broke up. I guess it does say something about our relationship. I mean.. it wasn't entirely sexual, we did other stuff, but I guess it was lacking some substance.

So is that as bad as it gets? Or is a person's last name really even that important?

More over, is a person's first name even that important? I mean, it's the emotional bond that matters, and that can occur without any exchange of words (albeit rarely). Maybe I'm getting a bit too deep here, especially for my own taste.

I fucked a girl for 7 weeks without knowing her name. I called her "you" or "girl."

She confronted me about it, and told me her name. To this day I constanly confuse her with "Katie."

That's not as bad as waking up with a girl on top of you, and the first thing that you had to do was ask " What was your name?".

She then cried and proceded to tell me how much she loved me, and misc. Bullshit. Although, I kinda felt bad. I cooked her breakfeast, and never saw her again.

Well, I never met her family, she only met mine. Same with friends. I never met any of hers, she only met mine. She always came out to see me, I never once went to her house (she lived kinda far, like an hour commute by bus, and neither of us drove at the time).

So nobody from my social circle had any reason to ask that.

Although with a lot of them, we do know their last names, but we still refer to them by their identifying quality. Lol. We never use people's last names.

In Rhode Island, everyone calls everyone by their last names. I know more people's lasts names than I do firsts.

What was the last name? Urgh I went out with a girl called Nancy Day. What a crazy relationship that was.

On St Paddy's day, I had to click on the start menu of this girl's computer to remember her name despite having fucked her.

I once forgot the month her birthday was in, so I took a crack at it, and ended up exactly one month premature. That didn't go over well. But I'm sure a lot of us have forgotten birthdays
