Arm swelling
Ok, this is a bit weird, so I'll just tell it how it is. A couple days ago I got a sore spot on my upper right arm, in between my bicep and another muscle. It felt like I had worked out the muscle and it was regenerating, which is odd because I hadn't worked it out at all the day before. I thought nothing of it at the time. The next morning I noticed that the hard sore spot had spread... Now my entire bicep was just as hard as the spot I noted on the previous day, except neither of the spots hurt. This scared me a little because it felt entirely unnatural. It's hard to describe it completely, but it feels like when you have a knot in your muscle. It's that kind of hardened mass, except it's the entire muscle. As scared as I was, I was hoping it would just go away and things would be fine. I thought maybe it was just some inflammation, or something. However, now, most my entire upper arm is hard. It looks like there are spots where when my arm is flexed, that hard spots bulge from under my skin. It's scaring the shit out of me and I have no idea what it could be. I've checked online, and besides from the usual "arm injury" and things like that, they all look fairly serious. The problem is I don't even have insurance right now. I want to go to the doctor to make sure it's nothing serious, but it could cost massive amounts of money (They'll probably want to get an x-ray and all sorts of retarded tests). Does anyone have any advice? Any ideas on what it could be? Any help at all is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Arm swelling
I know that this is all I've got, and it could be something serious. But what if it's nothing and I end up spending hundreds of dollars for absolutely no reason? I'm a bit low on cash as it is, I really don't need this right now... Life...

Re: Arm swelling
No I haven't injected anything in years. I don't use roids, but I might have a disease called Sarcoidosis that (in short) gives me little tumors all over my body. I for sure have some in my lungs and have a bigger sized one on my liver. The doctors said they were pretty sure that they were benign, but weren't positive and that I should get an MRI to make sure. (Well, actually they wrote this in my medical information. They never once mentioned it to me; the only reason I know now is because I got my medical file so I could fax it to an insurance company. I was so pleasantly surprised when I found out. Fucking ass hats, I had insurance when they found them and now that I know I don't. Of course I got turned down for the insurance because of the ones in my lungs, and get this, acid reflux. Yeah they deny my insurance based partially on acid reflux. Good stuff.) So as far as I know, I'm not going to die anytime soon, but I'm pretty sure I will. But if this were a tumor unrelated to this disease it would be MASSIVE. Think like the size of your entire upper arm. I'd have to get it amputated. This day is just going swimmingly.

Re: Arm swelling
That sucks man. Hopefully it's nothing too serious, but you should get it checked out. Even if it's nothing, at least you'll have peace of mind.
It doesn't sound like nothing though, go get it checked out. I don't want to sound ignorant, but money should be the last thing you worry about if you care about your own health.

Re: Arm swelling
I agree. You can complain all you want, but all we're going to give you is advice. If you keep complaining you'll just get told to stfu.
If you don't want to spend any money, well stop bitching. Nobody on totse is going to give you a miracle cure.
Go to the doctor, or just hope it gets better. Nothing more to it.
I hope it works out for the best.

Re: Arm swelling
No, not particularly. Which whiny bitch are you referring to? And it isn't because I want to keep my money, it's because I want a spot to live, food to eat, you know, the luxuries in life. I don't have a whole lot of money at the moment, and currently also don't have insurance. I got screwed out of a well paying job AND the insurance when I started getting crippling panic attacks. The only problem is, I've been thinking I'm going to die for quite some time now. But everyone I know always assures me it's just anxiety. If I didn't think a lot of my problems were anxiety related, I probably would be spending at least 4 days a month in the hospital. And money is not precious to me, maybe you didn't read my posts, maybe you didn't understand me, or maybe since you've never been in this situation you couldn't understand. But, if you had to choose between paying your bills, and going to see a doctor for a problem that may ending up being absolutely nothing, what choice would you make? Either you go to the doctor, and it saves your life (but then you get kicked out and have no food, so ultimately die), OR you pay your bills and hope for the best (and maybe die). It makes sense to me...
EDIT: Ok, now all of you are REALLY confusing me. I don't see one post of mine that I would consider as "complaining". (Unless you mean me complaing about my retard doctors, but I'm assuming you're not) I'm sorry if you guys feel like they should be taken that way, but that's definitely not how I wrote them.
