Default The last few months.

In the last few months, I have not had sex/masturbated. I guess thats what you get for joining the army. I guess I haven't really thought about it that much, because I have been around mostly all guys, and fugly girls.

It's weird though, because now I am in a lot better shape, and I started lifting weights, playing basketball, and running everyday. I feel, and look a lot better. I was wondering, when I go back home, and see everyone, what are the chances that they will think diffrently of me. I mean, I haven't changed personaly, but I look kinda like a hard ass.

I think that its going to be kinda weird, and they probably will think I am an ass. I used to be the druggie kid, Buy/sell/do.

I dunno, I was kinda just worried people won't like me when I get out of training in 7 months, I kinda just left, for a few diffrent reasons, I didn't tell people. Should I be worried, I mean if I see the * reasons* I kinda just picked up and left? It wasn't a bad reason, more of an " I don't want to live my life watching my back" kinda decision. And I don't want to fall in that hole again.

Oh well, I will follow up tommorow, after I get out of Training.
Peace

You joined the military for yourself, not for other people. So why do you care what people are going to think of you?

Really, why do you give a flying fuck of what other people think of you?

You sound like an amiable young man to me. I can still use the phrase "young man" to describe people older than me, right?

Seriously, though, I like your reserved and honest style.

If you're anything like you sound, you will probably be just fine.

Also, *trying to be the least grammar-Nazi-ish* the word is "differently."

Yes, I joined for myself. And also to get away from a situation elsewhere.

I just realized my original thread went completely in the wrong way, I was kinda distracted. I guess I'm not so much as worried about "back on the block" I mean I could give a shit less, as far as I know they still aren't doing shit. Still the same old people. As much as I'm scared about my whole Circle of friends changing, because my visits are few and far between.

And as far as the opposite sex goes, When my girlfriend heard I was joining the army, she was cool with it, and then right as I got ready to leave, she moved out.
I was really fucking hurt, She told me one thing, and at the last second pulled out. I could say I am kinda scared to get anything started again.

:[ How could I help getting over that?

Remember that seinfeld episode where the dude gives up sex, and becomes a genius? This is what you are experiencing. THE INSTANT YOU HAVE SEX YOU WILL DEVOLVE INTO THE DRUG-SINNER YOU ONCE WERE. For the love of jesus, remember, SEX IS A BAAAAD thing.

George bush loves you!

From my boyfriend who served in the Army for 4 years:

It sounds like you have a number of problems. One of them could be your lack of interaction with the rest of your unit. It might be difficult, you might just be in training and wonder why you should get involved with people you're going to leave in 7 months, but these are the people that are going to make your career in the future. You've hear its a small world, its a smaller army. In order not to "lose" your friends back home, write them letters and call the ones you care about. It sounds like you left everyone indiscriminately, you know, no one likes to be left.

What's your job? What post are you at? How long did you sign up for? And what's your 2 mile run time?

It sounds like you just got out of basic. Give it a few weeks to adjust to your new privileges. Don't overdo it in the beginning: not so much drinking and going out. Save your money, don't spend it on hotels every weekend.

My two mile is 14:30, looking to cut it down to 13:30
