Wouldn't it be just too bad if that number got pasted all over everywhere as a free phone sex line, or call this number to get a free _________ [whatever].

Maybe. But I'm gonna have to retire from prank calling for now, I have no safe zone to do it from nor the guts, I just barely started working a (legitimate) job again and can't afford to get busted.

However I may consider it if we can get a mass amount of people to participate.

"Dozens of teenagers from a BBS on the internet, prank call and flood the New York police gun hot line with prank calls such as 'Do a barrel roll' and 'Bel Air' Officers have managed to trace down most of these individuals, and will face court next week"

I may not be a big fan of cops, but seriously grow the fuck up & let them do their jobs.

Just because one does crime, doesn't mean they have to hate those who enforce the law.

For example, if I screwed up and got caught that's my problem. They are just doing their job, I've had jobs that require certain amounts of authority. And needless to say that people always labelled me as a "Narc" and the like just because I was legitimately doing my job.

Besides which, I can perfectly understand hating police officers. Or being an asshole/upholding your rights if they are talking to you. But shit like this, they brush it off and go "Fucking moron caller" So what's the point?

I couldn't agree any more with you, its not cops that are assholes, its the fact that youre dumb enough to get caught coupled with a shitty law system.

I remember a few years ago the anti-gun crowd had a toll-free number set up to encourage "gun control" - pro gun folks called the number repeatedly and forced them to discontinue their agenda with that particular phone number.

The point of this post is that if hundreds or even dozens of long distance calls per day came into this "narc on a person with gun" phone line, they might be forced to discontinue this anti-American bull shit in this particular way.
