We had been going out for a year and on Friday she comes online and breaks up with me...doesn't give me a reason at all.

On sunday she says she just needs time to be alone and that she doesn't want to date other people, she is just trying to figure everything out.

Yesterday we were hanging out with some friends when she leans over and starts kissing my neck, I try and pull away cuz I can feel myself srarting to cry, but instead of stopping she starts kissing my lips and getting mad cuz i won't make out with her...

When she dumped me I truely felt heartbreak, that stupid feeling you all know you have felt atleast once, where you honestly feel your heart hurting. I was crying and crying and crying, everytime I was alone I started crying over her. (Call me Emo, call me pathetic whatever you want) I can't help it, my longest relationship by 9 months and she dumps me online and then hangs out with me and makes out with me...

You need to sit down with her and just talk it out, without judging each other. If you do it with 100% honestly, it's likely she'll reciprocate. Just lean in and ask what's really going on in her head.

I think you need to focus on these words above and let your sadness turn to anger. You made these plans in advance and now she is leaving you high and dry for the prom because of "confusion". Gimme a fuckin break! So if you knew you would be dateless, would you have still gone to the prom? (Assuming you wouldn't find someone else) Think of the money invested into this one night. Tickets cost money. Tuxedo rentals cost money...at the very least a deposit. If you got a limo, that costs money. And all that right down the toilet, because this broad is confused!

But really bud I was in your EXACT situation about six months ago. Been with this girl for EXACTLY one year, out of the blue near our anniversary she let on that she had "accidentally" kisssed some guy she worked with. I was pissed off, but I told myself I loved her and hey, maybe those things happen"

So everythings fine till about a week later on our anniversary we're laying in my bed and she starts telling me she DIDN'T just kiss him, but ended out making out, possibly oral (she mentioned it then denied it) with him in her car in Burger King's parking lot (she worked there).

THEN before I can even get worked up about that, she whips out the double whammy with "Also I think we should break up". At THAT point I really don't know if I would have taken her back, but I'm afraid I would have. But right afterwards she's all over me, trying to take off my clothes and shit, and at the same time apoligizing for breaking up, saying "It's not another person, really its not". I drove her to her house and left still telling her I loved her.

Found out a week later she wasn't broken up as she said she waws, not a week after me she started dating one of her friends at school.

So basically, Im saying girls are unpredictable, moody, bitchy, irrationable broads most of the time. But move on, it'll come in time. I was with this girl for a year, too and when it first happened I thought I was done without her. But You'll find someone much better than her. As have I.

Well I think I finally got it into my head what H4t3 was saying, I havn't broken down at all today, hung out with her and her friends as just friends. I'd like to still be friends with her and I know she wants that too.

I will still go to prom with her and enjoy the night, and when the night is over thats all it is is the night being over.
