Getting a Job at 15
What would be a good job for a 15 year old? I put in an applacation to Taco Bell earlier today, and I am going to get one for a grocery store tomorrow.
Where else would be a good place to check out? I'd perfer something that didn't require me to have to talk to people a lot, but it donsn't matter. I live in Missouri, if that matters.

Re: Getting a Job at 15
Any job is a good job at fifteen. My state doesn't even hire people until you're sixteen, and first jobs are hard to get.

Would a call centre take you on? If so they pay crazy money.

Just apply everywhere, that's how I got one back then. Even if you get an undesireable job, work at it for a bit, to get experience for another, better one.

Re: Getting a Job at 15
At McDonald's, Burger King, and grocery store's here, you need to be 16 here. My brother got a job at Mcdonald's when he was 14(in Ohio), and most of my friends had jobs at 15 (Kansas.) Missouri sucks when it comes to child Labor Laws, though. Actually, they hate kids. Off topic, but you need to be 18 with a valid license or be with a parent to be in the malls here on Fridays and Saturdays.

Re: Getting a Job at 15
Get a worker's permit from your school (or city hall or wherever the fuck you're supposed to get them) and that should open up more options for you.
My first job was working the front desk at a barbershop (I was like 14 years old). I did nothing all day except write down people's names on a waiting list when they came in. It was boring as hell and there was no computer to browse the internet on, and I couldn't do homework. But I still got paid.
