Okay, so here's a scenerio, you go to school, you have about 5 different teachers in a day. Most of them are old bags, but then theres that teacher who is real cool. Their usually not that old, so they can kind of relate to you. I had that teacher, where he felt like my older brother(infact, he graduated 2 years before my oldest brother). He was almost like a role model to me. I thought of him in the highest standards. This guy was married, and had a little kid who's about 2 years old. He was my drama teacher, and was the director of all the plays and stuff. And since acting and drama is something I value a lot, he was directly involved in my life.

Anyways, to get right to the point, I find out this teacher has something going on with a student... on of my semi-chick friends. Like sexual stuff... like the stuff you read about on the news sites and think "what a dirty old bastard".

I've been to this guys house before, met his wife, my dad knows his father in law... he was basically someone I held in really high reguard. And I find this out... now, I know if this ever got out, he'd be fired, maybe even charged, he'd divorce, his kid would think of him as a bastard when he got older, the school would be tainted, the whole drama program from taht school(which i'm part of) would be fucked up, and not to mention the girls life (her mom has ran for mayor).

I don't want it to get to that, but at the same time, I know that he can't keep doing it. I wanna approach him and talk to him one on one, man to man kind of thing.. but he might just think I'm a kid... and not take me seriously.

Even typing this, I'm wondering wether I should even post this.

I need advice on what to do... I'm really being sincere. Try to be mature about this Totse.

You better make damn sure that this shit you just happened to have found out is for real. Because accusations like this can really fuck up a person's life and livelyhood. How did you come by this information?

Well I first found out from her best friend(which I'm very good friends with). And then I saw the text messages. He texted her, and said dirty shit... like this guy use to be so cool in my eyes... then I found out about this. And we're suppose to be going on a provincial trip this thursday..

Best advice I can give is to talk to the girl first (as she is the one that has nothing at stake), and see what you feel like after talking to her. Mabey let her know how you found out, and just basically get a feel for what she is going through. If you are in any doubt, you probably should tell someone in authority. But in all honesty, chances are nothing has happened.

As fun and exciting as it sounds, affairs between teachers and students really aren't to be taken lightly. I wouldn't talk to the teacher, as he is the one in the wrong. But I also wouln't report him unless you 100% know it is happening, as this sort of thing is a career ruining thing for a teacher.

God knows how many other people she's told then. If you're in a small town (Saskatchewan does not have any metropolises that I'm aware of) these rumours will spread like wild fire.

Confront him now before it does get out of control. Seen it happen before.

You sure the texts came from his phone? You know his cell number and physically saw it on her phone? And as far as "her friend told you". That ain't enough, imo, to be 100% certain. Like it's been said, this could really fuck someone up. The girl as well.

I've came to the conclusion that I really don't know 100% without a doubt that it actually happened. Maybe 95%... but not for sure. And it's not my problem... like some of you stated. If it is indeed true, he's a grown man, if he wants to throw his life away, his choice. I shouldn't be interviening with his choices.
