Default Removal/destruction of feelings

Well guys for those who have read my other post "ode to crushes" are aware of the depths of which my tender heart beat for a certain young lady ;)

I have recently posted another thread in which the said lady maybe involved in some difficulties I am encountering with fellow classmates, and to be honest I tire of the yoke that is this infatuation with her.

I want to stop my feelings for her, I want to feel nothing for this girl, not anger nor contempt, affection or love, but nothing. This schoolboy crush is pointless and embarassing. Please help.

Impossible.

If you somehow figure this one out, let me know how.

You can only do things to kinda dull the feelings but that's the extent to it. Either that or get a new crush. Either way you're never truly free.

At least that's how I feel.

ok, well I will settle for dulling the feelings.

The frustrating thing, I try and not think of the girl, I try and associate her with somethign negative, etc all the usual tricks to break a bad habit, but I cant evict her from my mind. :(

Yeah, it's tough as hell.
I recommend going out with friends, partying/clubbing, consuming ridiculous amounts of alcohol and having sexual relations with other females. That does wonders for getting your mind off of other things, specifically annoying emotions.

What you must do shall be difficult yet it will be worth it. To reap the best benifits of this world you must feel the worst pain. To truly apprieciate wealth you must become the poorest of the poor.

I suggest walking the earth, meeting new and interesting people, and getting in adventures. That is your best bet. God speed son.

And dont forget t3h p0st ur v1d30s and p1x on youtube of ur 1337 adv3ntur3s. T3h Aw3s0mE!

Instead of thinking of her, or thinking of how to get rid of her from your mind, think of something else. Play computer games, they're rather distracting and very absorbing - get a first person shooter with a good story line, that'll distract you from the whole world.

Failing that, get your feelings for her, put them in the front of your mind and take a step back.

Look at them, put them into different groups, things you like about her, why you like them, things you don't like about her, why you don't like them, how you feel when you see her eating a sandwich etc. - ALL of your feelings.

Look at them, poke them around, realise that they're nothing more than mear feelings that you can feel, or, if you choose, make pathetic, feel that they are nothing, nothing at all. Just feelings, minor and insignificant feelings that are useless to you.

Be selfish about it, hate that she's made you feel like this, that she tells people about how pathetic you are to her. Look at what she actually is, a biological creature, that does and feels and reacts but doesn't really think because she can't detatch herself from her feelings enough to see what they really are.

Why would you want someone as insignificant as that?

Get to know her.

Most of the time I got to know a girl I liked it was extremely disapointing.

I did that once actually. Not necessarily on purpose, but I did it, it ended up being more of a dulled emotional state towards the entire world and humanity in general though; not really just an emotionless state towards some shitty girl.

I'm not sure it's possible at all for you to do it though...just because my situation was really unique.

As a kid I was really...we'll say chronically nervous, always really anxious, that kind of thing. Now my father happens to be a psychiatrist, so he took it into his hands to change that. I learned mental tricks to dull anxiety, physical pressure points that stimulate relaxation, and even got to the point where we used hypnotism to dull my emotions in general. I got "fixed" as one might call it, and became the laid back slacker I am today - without a care in the world; however I can honestly say that nothing makes me nervous at all now, I can count 2, perhaps 3 times in my entire life that I've been actually angry. I cry perhaps once every 2 or 3 years, and so forth. The one difference was that I was more than capable of finding myself hating people or things, though I kept it to myself.

Now, then this broad stumbled into my life and I got all caught up in the concept of love, or perhaps it was lust, and anyways, she kept "mind-raping" me (or so I liked to phrase it), and I kept coming back like a love-struck puppy.

Anyways, eventually I got tired of it and got to thinking: the only reason this was happening was because, as a kid, when I did those mental tricks and physical things and hypnotism, it was to dull emotions I had AS a child (ie- NOT hate or love). So I went about reliving my youth as best I could, and entirely dulled my sense of love in general. I now think of love as something that requires far more time and effort than it's worth, and thanks to this have no reason to be so infatuated with any femme fatale.

Simple...right?

On one hand... Love must be so beautiful, so pure and made of good and win. Something not to miss out on right?
On the other hand it will fuck up your psyche (sp?), bringing out the full of your emotions...
Thats how I see it, especially considering that Ive fallen victim to a crush on a class mate... and on one hand I see her as something on my level, a girl that doesnt have loads of friends and has already had a thousand boyfriends, something that I could achieve... But on the other hand, it would be an in-class relationship, seeing each other daily... never missing her, always being with her, while on one hand might seem great, on the other it might be the fail that awaits our relationship. Now, Im in serious doubt whether I should pursue her or just leave it...
And so Im in this thread, finding advice on how to, just in case when I make the decision, uncrush myself.

Then analyse what you love in her, is it something special or just your lust for her? If so then look for better looking girls, shift intrest on another... I know it will be hard, but I find that shifting intrest onto another takes only a few days and is much easier than just uncrushing oneself.
Good luck dude.

You never fall in love with someone when you're around them, you fall in love when you're at home, amplifying their qualities in your mind.

Not falling in love is easy, just moderate the amount of brainspace you alloq a certain lady to have, divide equally among your ladyfriends.

Now falling out of love...
That I have no idea how to do...
That is fucking hard
