| Network Security and Hacking Interesting hacks and cracks. Info on firewalls, TCP/IP, encryption, networks, and security. The ins and outs of the phone system, caller services, how things work, what's illegal and what's not, cellular phones, beepers, telephony legislation, the PUC, ISDN, taps, who's listening, and switches. Talking about phones, hacking systems, technical advice, and such iscompletely LEGAL in the United States -- it's covered by the First Ammendment. What's illegal is conspiracy to commit a crime. So if you say something like "Meet me at 2am so we can crack a can" or "I changed my cellphone's number myself" you are criminally liable. Stating "You can crack a can by doing thus-and-so" or "If you wanted to change a cellphone's number, you could do it like so" is perfectly ok. Posting passwords, calling card numbers, or credit card numbers is forbidden on this network. Posting such info will get you booted off the net. |

Torpark idea
for those people who want to use a proxy at school/work why bother with one on the internet, school/work can still see what you have been on because of your internet history with torpark they cant see what you've been on because the history is saved to the directory of the torpark files. with that you can save the program onto a memory stick or your user-space, because of this you could still use it anywhere but with even less traces, best of all torpark uses firefox so its more secure anyway because most schools/workplaces use internet explorer.

Re: Torpark idea
baloo i made this thread because of the proxy tutorials on the forum. people think by using a web-based proxy there admins wont think they have been on anything out of the ordinary, most admins are dumb but not all of them will look though the internet history and not notice www.*proxy.com and decide to block it

Re: Torpark idea
One reason some might not use torpark: a firewall can be easily configured to block all traffic which isn't unencrypted HTTP (port 80 only; throw in some deep packet inspection if you want to be really pedantic about it). Web-based firewalls will still go through, tor will (probably) fail.

Re: Torpark idea
Sort of on topic, I just created ghostpark. A combination of ghostzilla and tor. It's like torpark but more invisible. Go to my site www.flrx-tools.net if you want to take a peek

Re: Torpark idea
But if the admins block the TOR port, this is useless.
Proccess lists also render this useless.
