Condom malfunction?
You know, sex ed is really lacking in this country. It dawned on me today that I don't fully understand the condom: a thin, cylindrical piece of latex.
I've read there's something like a 98% probability of condom effectiveness at any given time. But what I'd like to know is where that other 2% comes from. Obviously there's condom breakage, but is that even factored into said 2%? If not, how else might they fail?

Re: Condom malfunction?
Some things just have to be learned through hands on experience.
Don't get one that tries to cut the circulation to Mr.Johnson off at his base, either. If you want that feeling, get a cock ring.
Proper fitting condom=no worries.

Re: Condom malfunction?
I think it comes from the "Dick head" factor for insurance purposes.
If they said they were 100% effective, everyone who gets pregnant could possibly sue the manufacturer.
If you read the instructions, and actually follow them, you'll be fine.
EDIT:
Example - if a couple get pregnant without using a condom, whats to stop them saying they did use one? Or whats stopping some dirty guy reusing his old one over and over until it breaks?
Theres your 2% of Dick Heads
