Default Alcohol Promotes Our Naturally Inherent Promiscuity

I have noticed in my past experiences with alcohol and with people that they go quite well together, especially when it comes to promoting our sexual desires.

Some people claim that alcohol makes people do things they would never do sober. I believe this to be true, but only because it reduces the inhibitions that prevent such actions from taking place, not because the alcohol actually distorts someone's views in such a way that they will do things completely out of their nature.

I hope that made sense.

Anyway, I am going to use some examples from personal experience, as well as from personal observation, that I'm sure most of you can relate to or at least understand.

The other day I was with a female friend with whom I know there is at least some latent chemistry. It would have been apparent, possibly only to a very keen observer, but it became more obvious as the night progressed (and as the alcohol consumption rose).

At first, while we were sober and just commencing our drinking ritual, we had a long talk about love and soul mates and sex and such. We both came to the agreement that we weren't too fond of sex, but still did it somewhat out of necessity, or at least (in her case) only with those with whom we have a high level of attraction.

By the end of the night, people thought us to be a couple. At one point, a bit of play fighting progressed to her on top of me kissing me. Another person in the room made the comment; "Someone's getting laid tonight". No one made any comment to counter that remark, not even my female friend.

Anyway, long story short, a lot of stuff happened that wouldn't have happened were we sober. I'm a fucking idiot and got too drunk and threw up on myself and passed out, so no sex occurred, and I can only speculate as to whether or not it would have.

But my point is that, we both went against the very topic we discussed and agreed on earlier that night in regards to sex.

Now here is something that we can all agree on: There are people that go out to bars and clubs with the sole purpose of getting laid. This is because the alcohol facilitates that purpose.

Also, I'm sure the majority of you have had a few drinks in you, and had a change in your stance on whether or not you would give into your romantic or sexual urges.

What I'm trying to get at here, is that deep down, we are all "sluts" looking for a fuck. Alcohol seems to be the ultimate lubricant for these situations to get things flowing more quickly and with less regret.

No matter how much you value the sanctity of the union of two souls as some spectacular magical event, it really just is in our human nature to get down and dirty and do it, even with complete strangers, no strings attached.

Promiscuous sex isn't as dirty as a lot of people make it out to be.

While I agree mostly with what you are saying, it could have been summed up in 3 words.

Alcohol lowers inhibitions.

Don't over analyse things like this - you'll bore any girl you meet, and come off as a needy geek.

Oh, and bars are great for meeting people looking for a good time. Hell, go at about 3am, and your chances of picking up are pretty darn good! If you like drunk and vomiting sex...... with a speeeshal lady.

But if you want to meet interesting people, you can talk to anyone anywhere you are. That chick infront of you at the service station could be your soul mate. That girl sitting beside you on the bus could be the best fuck in the world, yet never goes to bars.

But overall - yes - your chances of getting laid increase with the amount of alcohol consumed by both parties.....

That isn't exactly what I was getting at though. The reason I got into a long-winded post like that is because my point was more aimed at the fact that we are all "sluts" deep down inside, and that promiscuous sex is totally natural for humans.

Alcohol just happens to be the tool that promotes that concept. Alcohol in and of itself is almost irrelevant to my point.

Fair enough - I see what you are saying.

I agree that most guys are sluts deep down, but not too sure about women. Some definitely are, but there are a lot that either aren't, or it all depends on the situation at the time (ie. emotional state, relationship problems, time of the month, peer pressure, and all sorts of things). Alcohol can lower inhibitions, but women tend to know what they are doing before the night starts, so if she is going to fuck you, alcohol will only help speed things along. If she doesn't want to, alcohol alone won't help.

Things like humour, connecting on an emotional level, surprising her, even saving her life will all move you up a notch in her mind. Getting her drunk, and chatting to her won't.

I used to subscribe to that notion, up until recently, as I noticed that women aren't much different when it comes to the effects of alcohol on their sexual openness. I think that most girls inherently want to have sex with almost any guy, it just depends on other factors, including the ones you list below.

Women are definitely persuaded in different ways than men are. But alcohol is the one factor that has the most common effect on both men and women.

By all means, I am not recommending this as some kind of technique for getting laid. I am just putting something out there for people to get a better understanding of human nature, including their own. A lot of people seem to be confused about sexuality, even those that seem to think they know all about it. A lot of people think that promiscuous sex is wrong or unnatural. I really think that it is natural, as it occurs so often once our subconscious desires become released (particularly through the aid of alcohol).

Now whether something that comes naturally to us is wrong or not, that is a whole other debate.

I think its the other way round
our natural inherent promiscuity increases our alcohol consumption
as in the more you get drunk the more you want sex and the more you want sex the more you drink because liqour deep in your subconcious is how you get laid without it you either wouldnt get laid or something would replace alcohol

my 2cents.

Lowering inhibitions = Promoting Our Naturally Inherent Promiscuity.

So I think we both agree on that.

And I guess I can kinda agree with what your saying, although I don't think it applies all the time. Some of the time - definitely. Most of the time - Mabey.

But if someone is not horney on a given night - alcohol will not magically increase horniness without something else going on.

Sorry, but I'm really having a hard time understanding what you're saying.

The only part I caught from that is that people drink more because it aids in the pursual of sex. Assuming that my original statement is true, then yes, that is a possibility.

I for one use it as a "tool" at times. Not in the "get a bitch drunk so I can fuck her" way, but a few drinks to loosen the tension.

The way I see it, there is a sliding scale involved when it comes to alcohol and submissiveness. But at one point, it does become a matter of "rape" (or at least the kind of sex you would regret the following morning) rather than gentle persuasion, in which case, I agree.

But for the most part, the way I see it, everyone is horny at least to some degree. I'm not saying that some hideous guy with the social skills of a hermit crab is going to pull a supermodel just with the aid of alcohol (at least not without it bordering on rape).

I'm just saying that it is a very powerful social lubricant, but not necessarily a miracle solution.

Sorry im struggling to put this into coherent words.

If you love someone and they share the sentiment this doesnt apply because you both want to fuck.

You naturally want sex correct? well alcohol aids that, deep in your subconcious they become linked i have often found myself immediately begin drinking before i have to begin seducing someone so alcohol has become an integral part of my process, the more i want to bed someone the more i feel the urge to drink perhaps its just me but ive noticed many if not all my single freinds do the same.

you'll notice in muslim society where drinking is against their religion sex is gained either through love or force very rarely from natural chemistry that isnt love and even if it is she or both will be punished in some way because neither followed the appropriate channels.

liqour has become an appropriate channel in our society, the more you want sex the more you tend to drink its just something ive noticed.

if none of that makes any sense i apologise im not in a very good headspace at the moment perhaps a trip to the bottle shop will help.;)

I am very similar actually. I do that a lot myself.

Good points and I agree that liquor has become very widely associated with sex. It's one of the main reasons this thread was created. That common connection allowed me to notice it in the way that I did.

Haha, it's all good. Actually you remind me somewhat of myself. :)
