$100,000 max for investment
I've read the "turn $ into $$$" sticky and I am not interested in making the quick cash with a little investment, I am actually interested in investing up to $100,000 into an idea for a business or a reliable income. Any ideas at all are welcome, I once heard someone suggest buying space at a mall and purchasing about six of those pulsating water massage beds, just as an example.
Location suggestions are welcome also, but preferred in the 48 connected states of America. So what sounds good?

Whatever you do DON'T purchase massaging beds and put them in a mall.
Invest in stocks or mutual funds. Imagine buying $100,000 of stocks at $30 a share. If the average gain was only $.50 per stock you get $1,667.

Fuck, if you have that kind of money then just flip houses. Buy cheap houses, fix them up, sell for more. It's not too hard to do everything, and with a little research you could probably buy all the stuff you need and do it with a few buddies. You could easily double your money in a year flipping houses like this.

Wow, that's impressive.
Why tax he risk of stock ownership and have the brokerage fees if you're only getting 1.6% (not even enough to beat inflation).
Put that money in a high interest savings account right away (you can get at least $5,000 a year in interest).
Then take some time to think of a worthy investment.

Re: $100,000 max for investment
Research tax liens in your area for high interest on your investment (20 - 50%).

I have a good idea. Great idea. You would have a big market and 90% of it. I want in on it though.
