Art and Design If you like it, is it Art? What is the difference between a good design, a bad design and bad taste? Does form follow function? If something works, does it matter what it looks like?

Default My photos.

Hi,
I don't realy think I deserve my own thread for this, but I couldn't find a 'post your photos here' thread so here goes...

http://img359.imageshack.us/img359/1530/onebirdju8.jpg

http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/5...ewsmallpi7.jpg

I'm getting all of my photos printed A2 size, (about 23"x16")
All of them are for sale so give me a shout if anyone's interested!

Let me know if you guys are interested in seeing more!

Thanks, The one of the roman building and the one of the house are taken with my Sony Alpha-100. (my main lense being my 10-20mm Sigma wide angle).

the photo of the bird was taken with an old Yashica Electro35 that I found in a thrift store in India.

And how much would you be selling them for? I might be nterested in finding a way to pay you for the one of the bird for my friend's birthday.

The bird is my favourite of all of my photographs heh.

I currently have 5 high-quality A2 prints of it selling at a local resteraunt for £50 each, as you are a totsean I can sell to you for £40 (that's around $80 but postage costs must be taken into account for shipping to the states if you live there!)

However, if you want a REALY nice gift for your friend, I have two (absolutely limited edition, signed) 32"x21" prints of this on canvas selling for £150 ($300). This high price is due to the huge amount it costs to print onto canvas!

Let me know if you're interested.

I'm a totsean, who is 15, living in the united states, but I might be getting a job (again) So I'll get back to you on that. I may or may not be able to get my sister to help pay since the friend I'm thinking of getting it for is her absolute best friend.

Dude, "limited edition, signed" wtf? There hasn't been a photograph in history that was worth more because it was signed by the photographer.

yeah...if you're a sombody, but even then. Like I said, there isn't a photographer in history who's autograph made a picture value go up.

are you nuts?
if a pic by ansel adams was signed and another wasn't ... the signed pic would be worth multiples of the unsigned.
Hell , his signature on a restaurant napkin is worth money.
sorry for quoting myself, but your post wasn't worth quoting.
I happen to know photographers who make their living selling prints and they
typically sign and number each print in a limited edition.
How can you not know this?
