How closely are they followed/scrutinized, etc.

The main one I'm talking about is when to call a girl after you got her number in a club or something. i heard you're supposed to wait at least 2 days but not much more than that, etc etc.

Is the waiting time adjusted if you didn't just get her number, instead you also made out on a beach/cuddled?

And when does it become more acceptable to call more often?

And what is smart thing to do to not seem needy if the girl doesn't answer? For example, should you not leave a message and call back once or twice, or should you leave a message and wait for her to call you back? What if you leave a message and she doesn't call you back, but you have emailed/imed and can tell she's still into you?

That's the spirit. I'd say don't call her more than once a day unless you can tell that she won't mind. But other than that, don't worry about it. If she doesn't answer, then just leave a message telling her to call you back. No need for anything more than that.

The more I try to logically analyze the actions and reactions of females, the more I find myself being blatantly incorrect. It's really unnerving.

Call her that night if it's a mobile number. Tell her something like your checking to make sure it is a real number.

Then it doesn't matter after that - cause you have already called, and your scaredy cat little inner female won't have a chance to procrastinate.

If it's not a mobile number, just call the next day, but don't try and arrange a date or anything. Just get her laughing, and end the conversation early because a "friend" is coming over (imply it is for sex, just don't say it).

She won't know what to do after that. She'll be all confused, and want to know more about you. She'll end up calling you.

Remember - have fun, and fuck with her mind as much as you can. Sometimes it won't work, and sometimes it'll work so well your friends won't believe you.

If ya got it that night call the next day or even that night. She gave you the number... she obviously wants you to call.
Don't make it sound like your desprate. No lovey lovey shit. Just talk to her for awhile. When conversation dies down or akward silence kicks in wrap things up.
At the end I'd throw in a "I'm going to get going, I'm free all day tomorrow so if you want to give me a call whenever you get a chance you can."
Wait this day out, and find out if she really wants to talk to you and what not. If she doesn't call you that day wait it out and call her the next night and don't mention her not calling you. Just say something like "I'm sorry if I missed you call last night. I was with some friends and my phone died or something."

Just call her the day after. She wouldn't have given you her number if she wasn't at least a bit interested, trust me. She'll probably be happy to hear from you, just ask her if she'd be interested in seeing you sometime the next week.

Calling the day after won't make you seem desperate, calling and trying to schedule something with her the day after might. That's why going to dinner or something in a week would be perfect.

i personally dont follow the 2 day "rule"

i'll call, if she doesnt pick up i'll leave a message. if she fails to call me back within like a day or 2, i'll call her again, and if she still doesnt answer, i'll leave another message, acting like the last one didnt happen, then i put it into her court, if she calls back, i'll talk to her, but i dont go much further than that, unless i really like her, but i tend to not have to many problems with this, as most girls will answer or at least call you back or text you or something
