We've been friends for around 9 months, we just recently started getting a tad closer, say.. a month a bit more.. around 5-6 weeks.

If you keep that in mind, it is completely worth the risk. One of my best friends is a girl. I've wanted a relationship with her for a long time. It hurts me just as much as it does her when she gets hurt by another guy.
