| Better Living Through Chemistry Discussions of any and all sorts of mind-warping chemicals, pills, booze, mind machines, trippy stuff, making beer, current street prices, importing pharmaceuticals, smart drugs, nutrients, herbs, and altered states. Please try to keep your conversations "theoretical" in nature, since this is an open conference. |

Amphetamine Potentiators (Because you can never have enough.)
I know from personal experience that the following work:
-baking soda or other antacids
-bright lights (reduce melatonin)
-music
-physical activity
-other stimulants
Not tried but aparantly works:
-magnesium glycinate (chelated)
-magnesium hydroxide
Anyone have any others that actually work? I know MAOI's would but that would probably be lethal.
I live in a self-righteous douche area where everyone is just an obediant sheep so I really have to make what I have last..... I hate people who think they-re better than you because they think less independantly.

Has anyone ever tried that magnesium shit? Does it actually REDUCE tolerance? It sounds too good to be true but one can still hope...

Have you ever considered phenylalanine or tyrosine, iron, or ascorbic acid? More dopamine/noradrenaline = more capacity to respond to stimulants, I would imagine...

I don't know about the others but ascorbic acid will reduce the effect of amphetamines as it is acidic.

Has anyone actually tried a method that worked particularly well? Baking soda seems to be effective, though the extra sodium could be an issue.
