Difference between a "high" and a "stone"
Is it just different words for the same feeling or are they two completely different things?

Re: Difference between a "high" and a "stone"
Stone is the burnt out feeling you get, a high is where you have like a complete mind fuck, get lost in a couch and feel weird sensations all over your body and triple time.

Re: Difference between a "high" and a "stone"
Because most of the time I fell like just completely blown and feel heavy and just want to sit, but the other day I felt really althletic and really cordinated. Is that a "high"?

Yeah, the first one was an indinca strain(stone) and the other was a dominate Sativa strain(high)

Re: Difference between a "high" and a "stone"
I think they are interchangeable. They mean the same thing to me anyway.
And aren't most strains a mixture of sativa and indica these days anyway? I actually have no idea (I never know what kind of weed I'm smoking), but that's what I thought...

Re: Difference between a "high" and a "stone"
They can be used interchangably, but "high" generally has more connotation with the heady feeling of a sativa and "stone" with the couchlock of an indica.
And such is the beauty of the english language.
Subtle nuances between being high, stoned, blazed, blitzed, crunk, sauced, trashed, sloshed, fucked five ways from sunday, and McFried with a side of fries.
^^Yeah, most weed is a mixture but they often have more or less of either which will sway the high you get one way or the other.

Re: Difference between a "high" and a "stone"
well i think of high and stoned as the effects of indica and sativa
ie: indica fucking zombiefies you (stoned)
while a good sativa high gives you that mellow happy high(high)

Re: Difference between a "high" and a "stone"
It doesn't matter when you're online unless they describe what they feel specifically other than generic terms like high or blitzed. You basically get what they're trying to say.
When you're talking to locals then your vocabulary usually matches up with theirs.
But when you're online they could mean anything and unless you ask them you won't really know for sure what they're feeling.

Re: Difference between a "high" and a "stone"
i have always used the word "high" as something that your in the process doing, like...
"hey man, we're getting high"
or
"i got high with your mom yesterday"
as for "stoned" i use as a present term of after smoking euphoria, such as......
"My kind sir, i do believe i am stoned"
or
"jake went to court totally stoned today"
but thats just me.......

putting it in that context there should be an obvious difference between the words. High meaning way up in the air, stoned being dragged down (by the stone).
but again, words are meaningless when everybody applies their own definition to them.

Re: Difference between a "high" and a "stone"
To me when your stoned you can function high without getting distracted while being high is when you get distracted by the full stop at the end of this sentence.
