Default Loneliness... It stings so

I feel like im unworthy of love at times. Totse is the only place i can talk about it because i'm fairly confident i'll never meet any of you. I spend a lot of time looking at social situations with a bleak outlook and come away from situations feeling like my interactions with others have little value, a waste of calories.

I just finished a long text conversation with a girl that i like, apparently she's going through some rough times. Her sister has cancer, and she can't talk to any of her close friends anymore, so she comes to me, the guy who accidentally slipped into the friend zone. I had a mad crush on this girl, and the conversation reeks of wasted thought... I have no problems consoling her, but i'm always on the other side of the fence. I want to be the guy that she wants to not only console her, but to kiss her and hold her too. However, I'm pretty confident she has no romantic interest in me.

After the convo died, i feel nothing but resentment and bitterness towards her. She only thinks of herself.. if she read between the lines, it would be easy to see that i like her, but all that she cares about is getting attention for her problems. But i supressed the feeling, and i let her know that i would always be there for her.

I view things like this all the time- I can usually find the bitter and sad line of reasoning in any situation in no time flat. Short of the random girl that briefly floats into my life from time to time, I have had no romantic attachments for quite sometime... Actually, i have never in my life had any kind of relationship that is anything close to love. (im 18 by the way)

I blame my self projected image, and my recent degradation into my world of emotional despair.

What do you think guys? Too much angst probably... I still feel better for telling somebody about my problems though. Thanks for reading if you made it this far.

Move on, and if you can't; read the ladder theory again.

Then you'll be reassured that your relationship is doomed :)

Guys need to accept that sometimes girls just don't like them that way. It's not the same for us, it's completely different feelings.

You're currently in a hole self-pity right now, you'll snap out of it eventually. And the sooner you do, the sooner you'll move on.

Sorry to say it but she knows who you fell. Women Know this kind of thing, usually long before you do. If she felt the same way she would have said something.

I don't have any real advice except that you should not expect to much meaning from talking with 18-29 age group. Scratch that you will find no meaning in 99% of the conversations you will have in your life. Don't try to find it there just have fun. Most "deep" topics get dull and depressing after the 10th time you talk about them. Theirs not really that many meaning full topics out there.

Oh and once your in the friends zone your not getting out give it up. you have the choices of
1. be OK with being only a friend
2. don't talk to her anymore

I'll say it again because you have already dismissed what I said. SHE KNOWS HOW YOU FELL AND DOES NOT FEEL THE SAME WAY. TRYING TO CHANGE HER MIND WILL ONLY CREEP HER OUT AND DRIVE HER AWAY.

anyway good luck with stuff hope I have been some help.

I remember when I felt like this, I was 12. Then I stopped being a bitch.

This place is a waste of your time. If you want somebody to respect you enough to go into a relationship start with solving your own problems. You're 18.

Read the book "The Game". To get women, you treat them like shit, then build them up, then treat them like shit again. It's really not that difficult.

That there! Internet convos suck, you should meet here in real life and then talk with her. Dunno, dont ask her to the movies or some shit like that, maybe go to a bar, just walk around outside (if its nice) or do something together, bowling or some fun game. Itll show youre intrested in her without you having to say i to to her directly, you will show you care, unlike when you just talk to her through som IM or some other shit like that. If you feel love towards a person, you should talk and all, if you cant talk with her for some reason then it means she aint for you (or some other probabilities, Im too tired to talk). So... go out and talk with her, show her yourself.

Loneliness is the worst feeling in the world. Welcome to my world. Just pray it's only a visit.

If you really want to get out of the friends zone there needs to be some sexual tension.
Start flirting lightly. Then get heavier.
I'm sure you can do the rest.

"Friends zone" is pseudo-profound bullshit. If she's worth your time, you can make it work (unless you simply don't fit, which means she wasn't worth your time!).
