Ideas for romantic advernure?
The other day at work an attractive girl approached me and engaged me in conversation. She was cute and seemed nice so I talked to her for a bit before she asked me for my phone number. I made some clever quip about her picking me up before handing her my number. Later that evening she called me and asked me to meet her and some of her friends for dinner, I politely declined explaining that I had to work until 11. We made plans to meet later that week for a spot of tea.
Our first date went wonderfully and she was far more stunning than I had remembered. We both laughed a tonne and learned the we had a lot in common. My "drug use" (casual marijuana use) was a sticking point for some previous girlfriends, but I quickly learned that this new girl not only smoked pot but used to deal for a while (she has since stopped). She seems sweet and caring while still being cool and popular.
As our date neared it's close we discussed when we could get together next. I promised her that we could go on some sort of adventure, exciting yet romantic. My main problem is that I am out of ideas and the weekend is fast approaching.
I have access to a car, and a bit of cash although I am on a bit of a budget. Could you, my fine &totse comrades, help me come up with an idea for a romantic adventure.

Re: Ideas for romantic advernure?
Drive ins are the bomb, but they're never around when you need one.
Nothing beats smoking weed at the beach/cottage, if you have one.
I can't offer more help, I'm sleep deprived, sorry mate.

Re: Ideas for romantic advernure?
Our last drive-in theater was shut down a couple of years ago when the oil refinery beside it exploded. I have always wanted to go to a drive-in and I have never had the chance. I was reserving getting ripped and doing random stuff as my backup plan. Thanks for your suggestions.

Re: Ideas for romantic advernure?
I don't even know where to start.
I should probably start with, you have no chance with this girl. Its framed the wrong way.. You're the one paying for her. Hell, you're paying for a girl you haven't even slept with yet, and trying to be "romantic" just because she's attractive. You're trying to buy a womans attraction rather than creating it. Please save your time, cut off contact with her. Otherwise you'll take her out, nervously move in for the kiss and be turned away with: Let's just be friends.

I do know where to start. Asking for advice does not indicate that I have never dated before. You seem quite frustrated for no reason. I intend to bring money but I am not going to get stuck in that paying for everything rut. In fact last time we split the cost of our $6 pot of tea.
Although I want romance doesn't mean that I am some sort of whipped pussy. Standing on some street corner in the ghetto might be your idea of a great free date but I think I am going to spend a little so I can spend time with a great, fun and attractive girl.

I suppose I took the wrong attitude towards helping you by being so aggressive but there's no way I can convince you how badly this is going to go now. You aren't pussy whipped, just an AFC.
"I think I am going to spend a little so I can spend time with a great, fun and attractive girl"
Your whole mindset is wrong in every way. She is going to see you as a friend. You are wasting your time.
The concept of making friends is being nice, going places etc.. Right? So what guys do is, they "supersize" this around an attractive girl and hope it will work. It won't. Buying her things doesn't help you - it makes her loose respect for you because this is what every other loser does. Doing the opposite of trying to be nice - being cocky and funny, busting her balls, making her laugh, getting her to buy you a drink, letting her chase you, is what actually attracts women. This is why most people only get the girls they don't truly want.

Fastseduction 101 - am I correct? And a mixture of David Deangelo... You should take what you read there with a grain of salt. Some ideas are gold, some are crap. It all comes back to the girl. Those dudes on there target a specific type of girl - who's to say this girl is one of those? And most of those forum stories are crap.
Anyway.... baqck to the OP
Romantic ideas should be original, and come from something only you and her know about. Think back to what you have both talked about, and whats special to her.
A little stuffed rabbit the same colour as her childhood friend, or a little bonsai to remind her of a trip to Japan.
As to locations, if your both pot smokers, mabey go on a picnic and have a look at local plantations. If you both like seafood, go fishing, then take her home and cook it.
Only you know what you both like....

Fastseduction is shit, and I know from real world experience what works. There is no specific type of girl, there are just rules of thumb for all girls, and let this go into your head from now on:
Being nice, shy, gentle, buying gifts, giving compliments and being romantic before having sex with girls doesn't make them feel attraction. Ever. It develops into affection at best.
What does spark attraction is being cocky and funny, ball busting, being mysterious, unpredictable, being dressed well, being socially savvy, having good body language, being pursued by other girls, having high social status, humour, intelligence, lack of neediness, being fun to be around.
Ask any girl which of those two personalities she would prefer for a boyfriend. And don't lead this poor guy down the wrong path, especially if you're already doing what he does. Its the blind leading the blind.

Your closed-mindedness is amazing. This guy said in the FIRST POST that they have tonnes in common and laughed a lot. Making a girl laugh is a BIG THING.
Did he ever say he was being gentle or buying gifts or anything like that? No. He wants to take her on a romantic adventure. That sounds rather cool. I don't think he meant he was going to shower her in rose petals and take her to watch the sunset while holding hands and helping old people cross roads.
You can't judge somebody else's relationship with somebody like that without knowing them or exactly what's going through their individual heads. So SHHH.
Now, I've been in a relationship since forever so most of my ideas are far too mushy and silly for a blossoming relationship.
Maybe take her for a drive to a different town/area and wander about and window shop or go the cinemas there (it's always fun going to a completely new cinema (for me anyway. I'm a bit of a dork))
But good luck with whatever it is that you choose to do :)

Re: Ideas for romantic advernure?
If you're driving somewhere, you could burn a CD with music from bands she's mentioned liking. If there were any, music might not have been a topic you touched on.
Depending on how close/far you live from a big city, it might be nice to take her into the city and eat at a really neat restaurant - some kind of foreign food place or the place that has the best meatball sandwiches in town. Something like that. Of course, if you live in a big city anyways this won't be so much of a novelty. And if you live too far... well, you live too far.
Like chumpion said, romantic ideas are best when they're something she'll appreciate more because it relates to her. I thought he had some great suggestions.
Good luck, she sounds like a lucky girl. :)

If it works, why is it shit?
The OP asked for romantic ideas, not a lecture from FastSeduction 101.
