| Art and Design If you like it, is it Art? What is the difference between a good design, a bad design and bad taste? Does form follow function? If something works, does it matter what it looks like? |

Somewhat new to Photoshop, so here's my first Pic!
Lately I've been getting more familiar with Photoshop and all it's features. It's been really fun messing around with everything, and for once I have actually made something I'm satisfied with. Almost everything (except for the background and cat, which is my roommates) were just taken from Google Images and than altered a little bit.
Tell me what you like, or what you dislike. There's always room for improvement.

i would make the city more out of focus than the trees, since it's farther away..

Its good for someone at your skill level. Keep practicing and you will gradually create more and more impressive pieces. This piece is good for a beginner, but with practice you could do alot better.

Re: Somewhat new to Photoshop, so here's my first Pic!
Thanks for the input guys! Although it's not much, it still helps.
oh, and the palm trees are only blurry because when I blew it up from its original size (which was like 1/20 the size), it got real nasty looking, all pixilated and blocky. So I just gave it a good rub down with the blur tool and called it good...

For some reason, I think you were on something when you made that.
