This may not seem like a "Sex and Affection" topic, but bare with me here.

At the rear of our house extension, I am installing a 2.5m by 8m (8ft by 26ft) covered paved area. It will be up against the back of our house, with the back door leading into the centre of it. It'll have a 1m (3ft) wall at the back, so it'll be sunk into the ground a little. See my dodgy diagram below....

My question to the forum is - how can I pimp out this area? I'm married, so not looking for a "pick up pad" so to speak, just a nice, romantic functional area.

I have an 8 person spa that will fit in one end (2m by 2m by 1.2m deep), and I am thinking a Japanese-style BBQ with stools and a counter round two edges up the other end. I'm also thinking some sort of pizza oven built into the rear retaining wall would be pretty functional (think old bricks, large italian style). I also have a two person swing I can hang virtually anywhere as well.

I have made provisions for gas, electricity and water to be run, so the BBQ will be "hard plumbed" in, and a sink can be installed just about anywhere.

Do you folks have any ideas?

Outdoor shower.

Open fire pit for marshmallows/hot dogs.

Comfortable lawn chairs, the kind you can lay down on if wanted.

Simple is best i think.

Also, a simple bar would be nice.
