how much weight would you get back from turning 1000 grams of pure cocaine into freebase? and also what are street prices for crack/freebase. a friend told me 10 dollars for every .1 is this correct?

Depends if you're starting out with cocaine hydrochloride or cocaine sulphate (or another salt, you catch)
How efficient are you working, how pure is the starting product, how pure the final product etc ...

After running the numbers, theoretical yield would be 893g if there is no loss, starting with HCl, but I'm not entirely positive on the molar mass I started out with.

So you're looking at a bit under 90% of the original mass in actual base, (not counting water contained in the crystals)

idk the costs but .1 for 10 is 100 a gram of crack, its most cheapaer then that.

Let's see.

I'm guessing you'd actually get about an 80-90% yeild in a best-case scenario; generally these things are quite lossy - and you're decreasing the amount of matter to start with.

If you cook it up like crack, though, you'll probably break even as doing so introduces some impurities (cocHCL + NaC2 + H2O = coc + NaCL + CO2 + H2 IIRC, probably made a mistake there). If you properly freebase, you WILL lose some weight, but it will be absolutely top quality.
