Default Covering up stretch marks with tattoos?

I have some crazy stretch marks on my back. They make me look like I'm half tiger (zebra :(?)

Any way. I'm not the biggest fan of tattoos since I think they should hold a lot of personal significance, but I'm wondering: would a tattoo cover a stretch mark, or would it still be easy to see through one?

Any one who's had a full back tattoo, can you please give me a pricing? I got told it will cost thousands.

But for thousands I could have them removed with laser treatment. ...I think.

Any way, they're on my back, I live with my parents and I can't really use creams. I cant get them to apply a vitamin E/Aloe Vera cream twice daily, because that's just queer.

1. Would a tattoo cover stretch marks?
2. Any one have any rough estimates of what a full back tattoo cost?

*edit*

Fuckity fuck fuck, just realized I posted this in S&A and not RI, how the fuck does one delete threads on the new system?

*second edit* I'll just change shit around to make it S&A orientated

I like sex. Sex is good. This forum is about sex. But my stretch marks lower my confidence and limit me from having as much sex as I would like to be. I want to fix this. I want more sex. Help me fix my problem.

Just read into laser removal of stretch marks, apparently it doesn't work too well (or at all). So...yeah, I guess tattoo is the only option.

I'm really not sure to be honest.
I assume it would look like the stretch mark but coloured?
Also, yeah the tattoo would cost thousands for a full back.
My friend got a very small star tatto, smaller than an inch and it cost him like a hundred.

I think it would cover quite well, it'd still be a bumpy line obviously, but wouldn't be noticeable with a tattoo over it.

As for pricing, I'm not sure, but I think his ^^ friend was ripped off. My friend got a soccer logo (he's British...) about the size of the palm of my hand and it cost him $200.

More importantly, do you really want a full back tattoo just to cover some stretch marks? It's a lot of money and pain to throw at a few little lines. They fade out in time, I've had mine since I was 11 (I had a knee operation and was out of action for a few months and put on a lot of weight really quickly) and they've faded back to my skin colour (Though it probably helps that I've got extremely white skin, whereas if you're tanned they'll still be white and a little more noticeable)

i'd just get them lasered off..
tattoos are expensive, and i imagine they'd have that weird look of stretch marks, that funny texture look thgat makes them look almost shrivvelled

Arquin, I have the same problem, massive strech marks up my back but even on my hip on the left and look like I've taken 20 heavy lashes, but personally I wouldnt ever go and get a tattoo just to cover the things up.

Sure, I've had the things for years and they sure as hell arnt fading out but to have a huge (and nearly perminant) tattoo done over them just so that i could cover them up just seems way to extreme for me. I'd much rather put up with them, after all they are part of what makes me, me.
Plus at the same time there is a chance that the tattoo will not fully cover the marks and you end up with scars and a tat over one another looking even worse than before,
In the end it comes down to the same idea of plastic surgery, how much do you wish to change yourself just so people see the outer you in a different way.

However in the end the choice comes down to you and you alone, so you will have to choose between looking like a victem of a severe beating and a biker with slats.

How old are you?

I wouldn't worry about them too much if you're still young, alot of people get them.

Look at the 2nd post of the thread. I googled laser stretch mark removal and apparently it doesn't work.

Kimness, $200 for something the size of your palm? I'm talking from arm pit to arm pit, shoulders down to the small of my back. It's like the size of 3 A4 pieces of paper. That's like 12 palms. That'd be $2,400.

Price isn't so much an issue as the time it would take to create. I'm assuming months. Ouchy.

Any one have any experience with this? Would a girl get totally freaked out and turned off at a full back tattoo :(. I'd rather them freak out at a tattoo than stretch marks.

Yeah, we obviously have similar marks. It looks like a tiger attacked me and I thought it'd be a good idea to drop into the fetal position and just let it sharpen it's claws on my back.

No girl has cared yet, but that's not the point. It's the fear of when a girl finally does care. Sure, it's a good indicator that she's not worth anything other than ejaculating on, but if it happened it'd be one hell of an ego blow.

and doct0r_4rmo I'm 19, I've had them since I'm 17. The thing that pisses me off is that when they started, there was only 3. I literally used to tell my little siblings I killed a baby bear and he got a good swipe at me. Now there's like....*goes to the mirror to count* ...5.

I'd get something tasteful, not something I'd regret when I'm older. Something customized, made in the likeness of art from the Edo period with slightly modern influences.

Women are too busy crying over their own physical flaws to give a shit about yours. This shouldn't be an issue.

Simple answer!!!

Tattoo your back as a tiger/human anamorphic kinda thing and have the stretch marks worked into the tiger pattern they already are!

Cover them up by making them obscenely obvious. Then create a story about how they just showed up real fast for no reason, and that you used to be ashamed of the marks, but after a particularly strong acid trip while on the frontlines of the 38th parallel it came to you that they were your inner animal trying to break free and prove to you that you were spiritually strong, and a tiger at heart.

Now that would get you laid.

As has been said, any girl who "freaks out" over some stretch marks is only worth ejaculating on. That's pretty much what it comes down to. Many girls have stretch marks from growing, putting on/losing weight, dieting etc.
Don't worry too much about them, they are in a place that probably get too much exposure anyway... And skip the tattoo idea.

Yeah, I agree with Lotek's opinion... before it became really warped.

But as I'm sure I've heard you say, a tattoo should be something personal. If you don't think it would suit your personality, then it isn't you.

As for cost, my wrist tattoo cost $160 in the US, but hat's because I went to the best. If I'm having something permanent done to my body, I don't want a half-arsed job of it. Most good tattoo artists will be able to design something with you which incorporate everything you want.

A guy I know in Romania got quoted for 2000 euros for his whole back, so $2,400 sounds about reasonable. Plus you get the secure knowledge that aussie tattooists do it properly... provided you go to someone with a good reputation.

I wouldn't get it.

You know your back will shrink and grow as you get older and by the time your in late 30's all the skin stretching will make it a blob.

That's my opinion.
