My heart was beating faster than usual and adrenaline was making me uneasy, but deep inside of me I knew the result.

A single word was about to decide if my whole life was either going up to neverland or deep down to hell.

So I took it in my hands and opened it. The word I read was: NEGATIVE.

My body's engine slowed its motion and my mind erradicated instantly the anxiety.

It felt really good to know I was still alive and my future wasn't compromised by this mortal virus. Fucking yeah !!!! I just thought everyone should know.........

On a random HIV blood test for blood donors, I tested positive on one of the tests. Every other test was negative, but it still is scary as fuck. There's still a slim chance I might be infected. I've got to go pass confirmation tests in the near future. You have no idea how scared I am :(

The only reassurance I have is that I did not have any risky behavior in the past year. I've had unprotected sex with only one girl, and I'd be extremely surprised if she had HIV as she didn't have any risky behavior either.

The lab technician told me that three months after the possible way of infection were enough in order to get an accurate HIV test result. I also read this in a book that talks about everything you need to know about HIV & AIDS. (Origin, prevention, symptoms, treatment).

I've been in that situation, only my results were... "Inconclusive".

I had one big scare, in the military every 6 months you have to get blood work done, which includes HIV test. Well They made me come in 3 months in a row to the corpsman to get my blood taken. They had me scared shitless. Turns out the dumb bastards kept loosing my blood.
