Christianity = Excellent Marketing?

Would you consider the single most successful marketing venture of all time? Consider how they have adopted parts of other faiths, and incorporated miracles to dazzle John Q. Public. I guess you could call Christianity a juggernaut in the same since that Microsoft is. They adopt other people's ideas and market it as their own.

I was thinking that exactly. It seems that religions and corporations both market themselves. A commericial tells you how choosing their product will satisify you while the other will leave you disappointed; one religion claims it will give you salvation whilst all others will damn you to an eternity of suffering. In short: adveritise = proselytize.

I agree. Its one thing to sell a set of knives or someshit. Try selling the idea that theres an invisible man in the sky thats watching over you.
