Default love obsession?

so, I know I have posted a little here and there, but now I have a problem.
I think I may be obsessed with someone, basically, my best friend(female) and I had taken our relationship to the next level, we've been at it for a while, all has been great, but because of life changes like her job and parents being sick, we rarely see each other, I think I may be in love with her, but do not want to get married anytime soon. I feel like I'm dying when I am away from her and feel like I have to make every second count when I am with her, I call her every day or so, not always every day, but I feel like I want to always be with her but its very hard with our schedules and her situation. today, we had plans but they fell through due to her family wanting her to stay with them for easter, etc, they don't care about her anyway, but I felt like killing myself, or like I should be dead, I am not a pussy type of person that would kill themselves, but I felt so bad. I sometimes think that I may be obsessed with her after being so close for so long, and her uncle thinks I am obsessed with her, or at least with being with her. if I am obsessed, is there some way to break that obsession or those depressed feelings without killing her or her family? any advice is appreciated.

First of all, you should probably realize that your feelings aren't limited to yourself. Lots of people feel the same way about their partners. In fact, it's the most real kind of love.

Do you have anything else to occupy your time, like a job, or hobby? Perhaps the problem is that you feel like she's being pulled away from you. Sometimes, to stop feeling like that, you have to pull away from her too. Scary, I know, and it sounds like you don't cope with loss very well.

But considering your feelings for her, and that she probably feels similar at least, the only way you could ever actually have her ripped away from her is if you 'kill her or her family', or make some other rush-hash job.

What you feel for her is normal, mate. So take a step back and don't feel so worried about it. What you have is a great relationship, so enjoy it and don't push for anything more.

A more appropriate title would be "love or obsession". This seems like something you'd find anywhere, a high you've got just from being in the relationship, rather than being "true love". Wait a while and see if the feelings last.

How long have you been with her?

I actually cope with loss extremely well in all cases until this. we've been together going on 3 years. I don't think it's any "high of being in the relationship", cause I've had other relationships, but never like this one, another problem is that her family needs her a lot, so many times we have plans, but have to cancel or postpone because her family needs this or that.

Get to know her family better, then, and hang out with them. Then maybe when they need her, you can come along too.

well, I know her family very well, but I am not that fond of them to say the least, a bunch of bums that get drunk and high all day to summarize. If I went, it'd only to be with her, but they treat her as a slave at many times, so she'd be too busy to spend time with me.

trust me, I have helped them a lot. they just use her basically and take advantage of her, I have to stand up to her brothers for her, I'm sure they'd rape her given the opportunity.
