I totaled my car and it was registered and insured in his name so I could get cheaper insurance. When I totaled my car the insurance company wrote out a check for over 9g. My dad decided to deposit that in his account, and screw me over.

I found some of his checks, how would I go about writing checks to myself and where should I cash them? I have his signature so alls I have to do is get some tracing paper.

i didn't just confront him, we got in a huge fight and he threw me out of the house. He rufuses to give me my money back. so i plan on cashing in on his checks, i just don't know how to go about it

Check cashing places, obviously. The ones in the ghetto next to pawn shops.They don't give a shit where the checks come from.

EDIT: And if you write them to yourself, use different numbered checks each time you go back to a place, like 12 then 37. And on the little comment line at the bottom put shit like "Happy Birthday!" and "Hope this helps"

Hah, your dad fully owned you good. What you two did could be legally considered fraud since you were the main person who drove the car but registered it under your dad's name so it would be cheaper. Yet it is he who pulled the fraud upon you. Maybe you should let him screw you as the subject said and then he'll pay you for it.
