I totally agree, this album got played through 3 times between me my sister and MUM today. It's amazing.

The industrial sound with almost breaks like editing is new and great! ! ! NIN ftw !

It's absolutely fucking amazing, it's in my top three as well, same top three as you.

Everyone should listen to it, even if you've never liked NIN before this album is just too fucking great not to enjoy.

I can't see what's so great here
the track has a good sense of momentum, but
the vocal melodies are really uninteresting, lame guitars.. about the only interesting thing about the song is some of the sounds used, but I'm sure I've heard all these before on some other NiN track
it's barely even a song it's so plain and bland
it just sounds like they put a lot of effort into making it seem cool and edgy but didn't really bother on the songwriting side

hope the rest of the album is better :|

Most people consider Survivalism to be the worst track on the album.

Personally I love it and I don't agree at all with your "complaints", but to each his own.

I love this album. Certainly in my top three favorites. I find it odd that so many people disliked Survivalism. I think it's pretty awesome myself. The video was cool too. In fact, this whole album, storyline and all, is fucking great. Can't wait to see the tour.

I've only got the first 4 released songs off it, they're pretty damn good.

I "might" download the leaked version, but i've got so much NIN recently (ahhh Closure and the new DVD) that I dunno if I can be bothered.

I'll probably buy it when it comes out, as I owe NIN some money for my piracy...

I saw NIN live about a month ago, and Survivalism kicked insane amounts of arse, although it was the only new song they played. The track listing was insanely good actually, i'll find it if anyone's interested! NIN live are officially.... fucking amazing.

I saw NIN two nights in a row about a month and a half ago.

They played Survivalism both nights.

It's even better live.

The rest of the album is simply amazing.

The ARG that goes along with it also very mezmerising.
