has anyone else seen this? I just saw it today and its one of the best animes ive seen so far. also are there other movies similar to this one?

Just go look at Studio Ghibli films.

I've seen it and do watch other Studio Ghibli films some are similar but are all good watching.

"Nausicaa of the valley of the wind" is the most similar of myazaki's other movies

Haha oh man I havn't seen this in ages.. Infact, I think I'm gonna rent it tonight now haha thanks.. And you'll probably enjoy Spirited Away if you liked Mononke. Actually just look up anything written or directed by Hayao Miyazaki, hes a flippin genius..

Nausicaa would be the closest thing to Princess Mononoke that studio Ghibli has done.
