Default Where to find labware?

besides Ebay what are some good places to acquire legal glassware for legal purposes?

And im wondering what 24/40 means and why it is so crucial

Im looking for a 1000ml 3 necked round bottom flasked and the glass plugs for it along with some sort of device i could use to fit a thermometer inside.

Nobody is going to give you a source in this thread, even asking will probably get this thread lock

24/40 describles the size of a standard taper glassware fitting. Getting all 24/20 insure that all your glassware will fit together nicley.

And for the themometer device... it's called a thermometer adapter. If your really serious, do us all a favor, and go buy a book titled somthing along the lines of "a guide to surviving organic chemistry lab", shouldn't cost more than 12 dollars used with shipping from either amazon.com or biblio.com, and will answer a lot of your questions that you have obviously made no attempt to look of the answer yourself

Also go back in this forum, see if you can find a thread titled "total synthe", should direct you to and ftp site and give you the password to dowload chemistry resources. Download vogel's organic chemistry, and read the chapter that discused labware

The book is a textbook, (The Organic Chem Lab Survival Guide) and costs sixty dollars new. There's a copy on totalsynth, though.
Website is ftp://total-synthesis.com

Look for a ftp client on Firefox's extension site. If you don't have Firefox, get it.
