The SR-60's should do ya just fine, although if it were me I'd bump up to the SR-80's .

Right now I'm using the Shure E2C's and I love 'em .

I use Sennheiser CX300s... They set me back about $80 AUD so I was kind of worried, but they're worth every cent. Absolutely fantastic for going to work/school/wherever you go on the train, they cancel most everything out, the sound quality and bass are brilliant and as an added bonus, you don't look like a pecker carrying huge monitors around

Smile Re: headphones

I think they are... I've gone through a few of them (in-ear)- some low end Panasonic ones weren't bad but the bass sort of blotted everything else out... A pair of Sony ones at a few dollars cheaper than the Sennheisers were good, but the bass seemed a bit weak and the high notes didn't come through so well. Narrow range?

I know, though, some people find the in-ear ones really uncomfortable... If you're tihnking of getting that style, it's probably best to borrow a friend's or something for a while to see if you like the general feel. I'm partial to them, but I know they're not for everyone.

Sony V6 or V600, the studio standard (for a DJ). Will last you forever, you can get refurbished ones for around $60 at any popular music store.

I'm content with them. Good for the price. They are as good as other more expensive headphones I have used (sony). I can not compare them to much more, though.
