never been in real love..
man, ive never really been in love, like, yeh i liked a girl here or there, and some girls liked me, but i still havent experienced REAL freaking love.. i want to run off with a beautiful girl holding hands and kiss and laugh and enjoy life, but that still has not happened.. i never even had a girlfriend yet and im 17. I want to be in love, but not simple or fake love or using one another or whatever. i want a clean, beautiful girl who is into me like im into her, and understand each other, and just go crazy together and do crazy things.. *sigh* i want to experience real love once in my life already, and find the one girl thats perfect and were perfect together and enjoy life *more sighs*

Re: never been in real love..
Ok, you're half way there. You've got the depression.
Now what you need to realise is that all women, regardless of wether they're perfect in your eyes, are imperfect.
They will still find other men attractive, they will still resent you sometimes, they might even suck another man's dick.
Love is an imperfect thing. Relax, enjoy YOURSELF and YOUR LIFE for what it is now.
You will become calmer, more in control and put out a vibe of self assuredness and relaxation that women may be attracted to.
Goodluck.

Re: never been in real love..
You're just about 2/7 through your life, barely even started on the part of your life that you might find love in, and you're complaining?
You're not alone, man. Some people never find true love. But dude, you're SEVENTEEN.
Start complaining when you're 60.

Not for basement dwelling weirdo's, not for bitter old men, not for puppy loving 17 year olds, not for drooling retards; not for you and not for me.
There ain't no such animal.
Whether that painful disillusionment comes in tender innocence or on the deathbed of a married man, the delusion of love is always exposed.
I'm sorry for your loss.

I'm afraid you're speaking for yourself there bud. Granted, love isn't a physical being but that does not mean it cannot exist. Much like fear, love is a feeling or emotion, it's not measurable by science because its simple more important then that.
Don't pass you're bullshit cynical opinions off here as fact just because it's a subjective experience.

I'm in your boat. Same age and everything.
It's hard, my best mates get all the girls and have felt love.
It does'nt really bother me, at least not enough to make a thread about it.

Not long ago, I would say your words were beautiful. Now, I can't stand the inevitable impulse to throw the fuck up!!!! I believe this radical change occured due to my first big disillusion. But don't listen to me man just keep searching and hopefully you'll find a worthy girl.

Re: never been in real love..
I know how you feel man. Like, I know pretty much exactly how you feel. And it sucks. But everyone's right: you're still young. The way I see it, there's a lot more to life than love: there's plenty more you can be getting on with, even when you're hormonal as fuck and you feel like it's never gonna improve. And once you find someone (which you will) you'll regret all the time you spent moping around; you'll turn round and laugh at yourself. So get out there and concentrate on the rest of your life! You'll feel better and it'll actually help in bringing your girl to you.

I've been in love for less than 24 hours all spaced out over the course of my life. The differant times would combine to be the greatest day of my life. It can hurt though...

Re: never been in real love..
Bummer, dude.
Don't worry about it. These are the best years of your life. I'm 16, and I have been going out with the love of my life for a year now. If I could go back, the only thing I would have changed was to date more girls before I met/dated my girlfriend. I would have more experience, and I would have learned from mistakes before I've made them with my current girl.
I love her, and I can definitely see me being with her forever, which is a first for me.
I never thought I would find anybody either. I felt the same way as you do, but worse. Not only did I not have a lover (literally), but not even a semi-serious girl, or even a fuck buddy, or even a whole lot of friends.
Trust me, it will get better. You just need to relax.
Good luck, mate. I feel your pain.

Re: never been in real love..
Me neither and guess what? Thats totally fucking fine. People somehow see love as the ultimate validation as an individual. If that is the case then you have more issues than being single. Personally I've had sex with 6 girls, but slept with none. Ironically none of these girls was my girlfriend at the time. I'm 20 and at my age girls are looking for potential husbands and daddy's. Ask yourself, what is it that you truly are hoping to accomplish with your goal? You will fall "in love" and find a girl to marry. You'll have a couple kids and a golden retriever with a house in the suburbs. Now is that what you really want? I can drink any night I want to and my only worry are classes and work. I don't advocate being a poor father/husband by any measure. With that I don't want to change my behaviour in order to fulfill that role. As a matter of fact I haven't even ruled out getting a vasectomy as a precaution. That is the only leverage a woman has over a man. In divorce cases the court tends to side with the maternal motherly type figure rather than the father. Your ex with will talk shit about you to your children, take your money, and you'll get to see them a few days a week and every other weekend. The only advantage to having a serious relationship is that you will get sex on a consistent basis. Unfortunately you will also have a far greater chance of having an "accident", less inclined to use protection, etc. Really, why not get fresh tail all the time? Now is being in "love" what you REALLY want?

Re: never been in real love..
someday you're going to fall in love, or at least think that you're in love, with some girl. She'll tell you she loves you and you'll believe her...then the next day she'll come over and tell you that she doesn't love you and needs space. and it's gonna hurt. bad. and then you wont be so inclined to fall in love again for a while.

Re: never been in real love..
Like the previous poster said, it will come when you least expect it. The best advice I can give you, if you're looking to just increase your odds: make more girl friends. Since you're 17 and white (I believe) I'm assuming you're in highschool still. Start talking to guys and girls that you're friendly with, but not exactly friends. You will come to realize that in a year or so, highschool is really about 1/10 as important as you thought it was. Start building a more prospective future. Start making new friends who will introduce you to more people. If you're headed to college, this shouldn't be an issue. You'll come to realize that the more people you know, the more people you'll have solid relationships with, as there will be those who are closer to you. But like I said, love will probably manifest itself in the least expected way, like someone you walk into, or a person you meet on the bus.

You got it all wrong, man. Conforming to the "house in the suburbs, a golden retriever and 2.4 kids" thing has nothing to do with love. Nothing. Love's been around much longer than all of that. I hope someday someone shows you that. :(

Oh hunny, youre only 17 and I know you dont want to hear that but you are going to meet so many new girls in the next couple of years, and when you go to college you will too. You have plenty of time to fall in love, enjoy your single life and freedom while you can, love (well more like heartbreaks) can suck really badly
